The Pet Parlour We offer a dog grooming Service based in Nottingham. The Pet Parlour is a modern salon situated on Breconshire Gardens, New Basford, Nottingham.

Esme is a fully qualified City and Guilds dog groomer and welcomes all breeds, sizes, ages and abilities. As of November 2nd 2021 Esme shall be on maternity leave but has left the wonderful Eliza in charge of the salon in her absents. At the pet parlour we appreciated that not all dogs like to be pampered, so we aim to make the experience as stress free as possible. With that in mind we do not hav

e holding cages within the salon but offer a secure space for the animal to relax on a comfortable bed where they can rest and have regular breaks during their grooming session and a secure back garden area to stretch their legs when needed. We have a policy of only 2 dogs at any time ensuring that your dog will always have one to one attention at all times, we do accept bigger groups of dogs but only if all the dogs are from the same family. The Pet Parlour offers a wide variety of service and we are open to adapting these to ensure a tailor made service to suit you and your dog if the ones listed do not meet your requirements.

Just seen a tan coloured chow chow dog run across the main road A610 heading towards Blenheim industrial estate, was nearly hit by a car. The passenger of that car has stopped and ran out to try and find the dog. I have informed Drone To Home but if people could share please or contact anyone who’s dog this may be.

The Pet Parlour I’m saddened about the governments recent decisions regarding the XL bully breed and I am not posting this for a debate etc this is to try and assist anyone who currently owns a XL Bully get the required documents etc they need to prevent any action being taken against you or your dogs.

Although the salon is closed due to my extended maternity, please be assured that I and the pet parlour will help in anyway we can, just message. 🐶

What XL Bully dog owners, vets and rehoming centres need to do to prepare for the ban.

The pet parlour is currently temporarily closed due to maternity leave.
A position for a experienced dog groomer is available and if a suitable candidate is found the salon will open ASAP.

I will keep you all upto date with any further info when I can.

The amazing drone to home is a wonderful service that has rehomed so many missing dogs back with their owners. A service none of us want to have to ever use, but a god send if we ever did.

Thank you for everyone’s interest. We have arrange for a visit to see if a home is suitable because of other pets. We will keep you all posted.

After receiving another message (from someone else) there may be another dog that is looking for a new home, so please keep your eyes open for another post from me.

Evening pet parlour friends.

A lovely customer of ours is having to make the very difficult decision to have her lovely shihtzu rehomed.

He is a 1 year old pure bred shihtzu who turns 2 on 21st September. He isn’t neutered. He’s vaccinated and microchipped. Currently lives with a female dog, has never shown any aggression towards male or female dogs and is always been playful.

He’s brilliant with children of all ages, very playful.

This decision for this family has been very difficult as a number of Health issues and family changes has given them no choice.

If anyone should be interested in possibly rehoming this lovely boy please let me know and I will be able to put you in direct contact with them.
