Thank you to anyone who rescheduled walks or visits today.
Thank you to everyone who has known about today and asked after our Ollie...
To provide some background, we adopted Ollie as a puppy, however, from the offset there were concerns around potential developmental delay or brain damage.
Ollie largely does really well but we do have occasional blips and "backwards steps" with his behaviour - as a result we asked for him to see a neurologist on a "just in case" basis.
---
So today we took Ollie to Langford Small Animal Hospital to see a neurologist. Ollie was prodded, poked and pulled around and was exceptionally calm (just when we didn't need him to be) and well behaved, charming everyone he met (and there were lots of people to meet)...
End result... Ollie just appears to be Ollie... there was nothing obvious from the tests they carried out and whilst they could do an MRI or x-rays we decided against putting Ollie through anything further particularly as the chances of them finding anything more is so slim...
So essentially...3 hours of driving to tell us that Ollie's behaviours are just that and the next step will be a behaviourist..
How do we feel? Relief, tiredness and a hint of wtaf!
