Oh hello! It’s been a while! Family life keeps me quietly busy.

Hi! A reminder to my lovely followers of who I am and what I do. I’m Jordan, an experienced pet professional in my 6th year of running my small business.

I find that pets are most content when they in the comfort of their own home.
I provide a pop-in visits for cats, small animals and exotic pets. I also provide a regular pop-in service and overnight sitting for dogs (in the dog’s own home). 🏡

My pet visits include (but not limited to) feeding, cleaning out litter trays/enclosures, medicating (if required) and plenty of fuss and attention.
I know that every pet is unique, so we can make a tailored care plan to suit them.

Some of my credentials:
🐾 Former Animal Warden
👩🏼‍🎓BSc (Hons) Applied Animal Science
✅Insured & DBS checked
❤️‍🩹Canine first aid trained

I will always put your pet’s wellbeing first and can guarantee trustworthy and reliable care.

Good morning,

A reminder to my lovely followers of who I am and what I do. I’m Jordan, an experienced pet professional in my 6th year of running my small business.

Hello pet parents, I’m back! 🐾

It’s been a while, so I think introductions are in order. I’m Jordan, the face (and heart) behind Thistly Tails Pet Services.

I offer experienced and reliable care for dogs, cats, small animals, and exotic pets. From pop-in pet visits, to overnight dog sitting, I take pride in giving your pets the best care when you are not around.

Some facts you may not know about me:
• I have an Honours Degree in Applied Animal Science 👩‍🎓

• I am a mum to a very busy toddler, who has inherited my love of animals and takes his role of ‘little apprentice’ very seriously. 👦🏼🐶

•I previously worked as an Animal Warden, handling the stray dog service, conducting welfare visits and inspecting licensed premises (to name just a few!) 🐾

• I was a self confessed guinea pig lady for quite some time but since the passing of my last rescue pig in 2023, sadly haven’t adopted any more (at least not yet!) 🐹

• Although I’m Scottish, I live in the Welsh seaside town of Barry (Gavin and Stacey fans will know!) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Your pets wellbeing is always my top priority. I am insured, DBS checked and first aid trained. My services cover Barry and surrounding areas.
