Doggylicious Cutz Terms and Conditions
Applicable to all grooming services

1. General Agreement
By booking an appointment with Doggylicious Cutz, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all dogs in our care and to maintain hygiene and fairness within our salon.

2. Health & Vaccinations
• Owners must confirm their dog is fit, healthy, and up to date with vaccinations (including flea and worm treatments).
• Grooming may expose underlying health or skin conditions. We cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing or developing conditions discovered during grooming.
• Please inform us of any health issues, allergies, behavioural problems, or sensitivities prior to your appointment.

3. Fleas & Parasites
• If fleas or other parasites are found on your dog during grooming, we will stop the session immediately for the health and safety of all pets.
• The full grooming fee may still apply, as time, products, and facilities have already been used, and an additional flea-cleaning surcharge of £10–£20 may be added to cover the cost of deep cleaning and disinfecting the salon.
• Dogs must be treated for fleas before rebooking.
• Repeated flea infestations may result in refusal of future appointments.

4. Behaviour & Safety
• Aggressive or severely anxious dogs may require additional handling time or a muzzle for safety.
• If a dog becomes unsafe to groom, the session may be ended early, and a partial or full fee may still apply depending on the stage of the groom.
• Owners are responsible for any injuries caused by their dog to groomers or salon equipment.

5. Matted Coats
• We prioritise the comfort and welfare of every dog.
• If a coat is severely matted, we may need to clip short to remove matting safely. This may alter the dog’s appearance.
• We are not responsible for any skin irritation or clipper rash caused by dematting or shaving a matted coat.
• Additional charges may apply for extra time or blade wear due to matting.

6. Cancellations, Late Arrivals & No-Shows
• 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% charge of the grooming fee.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged in full.
• Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in a shortened groom or rescheduling at your expense.

7. Payment
• Payment is due on collection of your dog.
• We accept Bank transfer or cash.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.

8. Photography & Social Media
• With your permission, we may take photographs of your dog before and after grooming for use on our website or social media.
• No identifying personal information will be shared.

9. Liability
• All grooming is undertaken at the owner’s risk.
• We take every care to ensure your dog’s safety and comfort, but Doggylicious Cutz cannot be held responsible for accidents, reactions, or health issues that arise during or after grooming.
• Owners agree to pay for any damage their pet causes to salon property or staff.

10. Complaints
• Any complaints should be made within 24 hours of your appointment.
• We will always aim to resolve issues professionally and fairly.

11. Data Protection
• Client information is stored securely and used only for appointment and service purposes, in compliance with the UK GDPR.

By leaving your dog with Doggylicious Cutz, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
