Hi everyone 💙

Just a little update for you all.

Ellie has now been given the date for her operation and will be taking some time off to recover. We wish her all the very best and a speedy recovery.

As a result, some Friday appointments will need to be moved to a different day. If your appointment is affected, I’ll be in touch as soon as possible to rearrange it at a time that suits you.

To make sure all of our lovely clients are looked after, I’ll be working some extra hours and additional days to fit everyone in as best I can.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. It really is appreciated, and I’ll do everything I can to keep any disruption to a minimum. ❤️

🌞 A little thank you to all of our amazing customers! 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who came in earlier for their appointments or kindly rearranged them last week to help me avoid grooming during the hottest part of the day. Your understanding and flexibility really is appreciated, and most importantly, it helped keep your dogs safe and comfortable. ❤️

With the warm weather continuing this week, if you’d be happy to bring your dog in a little earlier than your booked appointment, please send me a message or give me a call. It really helps me make sure I’m grooming in the coolest part of the day where possible.

I’d also like to mention coat lengths during this hot weather. I know everyone has their favourite style for their dog, but at times like this, their welfare and wellbeing have to come first. A shorter trim can help make them much more comfortable in the heat. While it may not be the look you’re used to, hair always grows back, and your dog’s comfort is far more important than keeping a longer coat during these hot spells.

I’ve attached some before and after photos of a few of the shorter trims I’ve done recently. As you can see, they still look absolutely gorgeous! 🥰 A shorter cut doesn’t mean they can’t look stylish, it just means they’re much more comfortable while the temperatures are high.

🐾☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️🐾

With the hot weather forecast for Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th, I’d like to make things as comfortable as possible for both you and your dogs.

If you’re booked in on either of these days and are able to come earlier than your scheduled appointment, I’m happy to start from 7:00 am. If you’d like an earlier slot, just send me a message or give me a call and I’ll do my best to fit you in.

For your dog’s safety, please don’t walk them to the salon this week. Even if it doesn’t feel too hot to us, pavements can become dangerously warm and dogs can overheat very quickly. If possible, please bring them in a well-ventilated or air-conditioned vehicle.

If you’re unable to get your dog to the salon by car, please don’t worry, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to rearrange your appointment for a cooler day.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for helping to keep your furry friends safe. Their comfort and wellbeing will always come first. ❤️🐶

I’m so excited to be returning to work not only feeling refreshed after a lovely holiday, but also with some very special news…

I said YES! ❤️

I’m absolutely over the moon to be coming back to the salon as a fiancée! It was the most magical holiday, and I can’t wait to share this exciting new chapter with all of my wonderful customers.

Thank you all for your continued support, not just of my little business, but of me too. It means the world, and I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone (and of course giving lots of cuddles to all my furry clients! 🐶).

🐾 I’m back tomorrow! 🐾

I hope you’ve all been keeping well! After a lovely holiday, I’m feeling refreshed, recharged, and excited to be back in the salon tomorrow. 💕

While I’ve been away, the salon has had a full deep clean and a little redecoration, so it’s looking fresher than ever and ready to welcome all my lovely four-legged clients. 🛁✨

I should now have replied to all messages and enquiries. If you’ve been waiting for a response and I haven’t got back to you, please send me another message as I may have accidentally missed it.

I can’t wait to see all those wagging tails, happy faces, and catch up with everyone. Thank you all for your patience while I was away, and I look forward to pampering your pups again!

☀️HOW HOT IS TOO HOT?☀️

I hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoys the sun but please remember to keep your dogs safe in the warm weather!

This chart is so useful to know when you SHOULD and SHOULDN’T walk your dogs in the warm weather!

For small/medium breeds the temperatures we are getting over the next couple of days can be unsafe for them and for large breeds they are dangerous and potentially life threatening!

❗️A dog has never died from missing one or two walks but sadly dogs have died from one short walk in this heat!❗️

Please be sensible and keep your doggies safe! If anyone needs any enrichment ideas to keep dogs entertained indoors then please feel free to message me🎾🐾🦴
