I have got my friend Ellie working with me next Thursday 21st August and Friday 22nd August which means I have got spaces available for Bath’s and Full Groom’s on these days. This can be for new and existing customers 🐶

🚨No-Show and Cancelltion policy reminder🚨

When appointments are missed, that’s time I could have spent pampering another pup 🐶✂️🛁

‼️If you do not show up for your pre booked appointment, you won’t be booked back in until you pay for the missed appointment in full.
‼️The Cancellation policy is that you must give me at least 48 hours to cancel your appointment if you cancel with 24 hours notice you will pay 50% of the groom fee, less than 24 hours you will pay 100% of the groom.
🙏Please give me a heads up if you need to cancel or reschedule - it helps me keep tails wagging and schedules running smoothly!
🫶I do send reminder messages as a thankyou for booking with me, but it is ultimately your responsibility to remember your dogs appointment.

ITS SHEDDING SEASON 🤯🐶

I’ve got you!! I have the perfect treatment that will reduce shedding and removes up to 80% of that pesky loose hair! 😖

What is included in a Bath & De-shed treatment?

1. Cuddles and Kisses🥰
2. 2 x Washes in The Pawdinary Blown Away de shedding shampoo 🧽
4. Nail trim 💅🏻
5. Ear clean 👂
6. Good brush and comb out using the trusty zoomgroom🪮

These beautiful brothers come every 10-12 weeks to enjoy their bath & de-shed they are feeling and looking much fresher and their mummy hopefully won’t have too hoover as much for a bit 🫶🐶

Reggie is wishing he was back swimming in the sea with this heatwave and I think I would join him☀️

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has either moved to an early appointment or rescheduled their appointments this week as always the dogs welfare and comfort is my main priority🥰

😎I am keeping the salon as cool as I can with the air con unit and cool mat.

🥵I am using the dryer on the cool setting and giving the dogs and myself a small break during their groom to give them a chance to have a drink💦

Some of today’s beauties, they all had short back and sides so they are ready for the warm weather☀️

⛱️ When you are considering how to have your dog’s hair cut, remember that it isn’t just about how you want your dog to look but also about their comfort and needs.

🐩 Long coated dogs such as poodle crosses are bred to be non shedding so during the summer months when the weather is warm they will get hot if they have a long coat. Their hair grows back so don’t be worried about having them cut a bit shorter they still look just as gorgeous!

🐶 We wouldn’t want to be wearing a big fur coat when it’s 25-30 degrees outside so think how much better your dog will feel if they have a shorter cut.

☀️DO NOT WALK YOUR DOG IN THE HEAT!☀️

I have still seen so many people walking their dogs during the day over the last couple of days! Your dog will not die from missing a few walks but sadly they could die from having one walk in the hot weather.

If you want to take your dog for a walk then go first thing in the morning or very last thing at night when the sun isn’t out!

This chart is so useful to know when you SHOULD and SHOULDN’T walk your dogs in the warm weather!

For all breeds the temperatures we are getting over the next couple of days can be unsafe for them and for large breeds, obese, flat faced and puppies they are dangerous and potentially life threatening!

Please be sensible and keep your doggies safe! If anyone needs any enrichment ideas to keep dogs entertained indoors then please feel free to message me🎾🐾🦴
