What is residential training?
Residential training is where I keep your dog for a minimum of 2 weeks, theyāll have targeted training sessions on the behaviours you need help with daily, as well as some lovely walks to practice what theyāve learned, and to decompress and have time to ābe a dogā!
Does residential training work?
The simple answer is yes! Being under the direct supervision of a professional 24/7 for 2+ weeks means all of those lessons are the right ones, so your dog will begin to learn new habits thatāll last with consistency!
The longer answer, it dependsš¤·āāļø. The crucial moment for a dog after a residential stay is the moment they go home! Your dog will have received a full reset with their stay, so if they go home and no structure or boundaries are up-kept, those new behaviours will fade very quickly. But luckily, after a residential stay you will receive a full, in depth handover where I explain everything! This includes an in depth training plan, and a plan for the transition back into home life, a detailed in person handover, this may take place over the course of a few days depending on how long your dog has stayed for, and how many different behaviours we have been working on!
What is residential training suitable for?
Anything really! Whether youād just like some obedience sharpening up, a crash course on recall and/or lead manners, e-collar conditioning for that super bomb proof off lead reliability, reactivity, puppy training and so much more!
How long is a residential stay?
The minimum stay is 2 weeks, the maximum stay is 8 weeks. The recommended length of the stay varies massively depending on what youād like to work on!

This service is designed to include you every step of the way, Iāll just be doing the hard work for you! At the initial meet and greet, weāll discuss what your goals are and whatās achievable for the length of the stay. Youāll receive an update every day with what theyāve been up to and how the training is going. Itās normal for some days to be more exciting than others, real dog training is boring and repetitive! And sometimes we need to take a step back to move forward. I want to make sure the training sticks as much as you do, which is why itās so important to ask any questions when they come up, or if youāre unsure of anything! The handover may be the most important part of a residential, itās important I see you handling your dog to make sure youāre comfortable with all the changes and everything youāll need to do going forward!
You will receive 2 free private lessons, a discount on future private lessons and lifetime support!
I will always check in when your dog has come home, I want to know how youāre getting on and if you have any questions or concerns. After putting so much effort into training and looking after your dog, I care more than you know!
