ππΆπ¬TRICK FOR TREAT!π¬πΆπ
Hereβs Clover π practicing one of her tricks (exercises) in exchange for a treat! π
π Physiotherapy isnβt just for old or injured pets! ππββ¬π
Physiotherapy is beneficial for animals of any age - introducing strength and conditioning in young animals is a great way to help their musculoskeletal health as they go through life and age into their geriatric years. Exercise to promote strength and flexibility also helps reduce the risk of injury and improves joint health. πͺ
Although Clover is only 2 years old, I regularly carry out strength and conditioning with her, as labradors are very prone to joint disease. I want to ensure she enjoys a joint-pain free life for as long as possible, which is why we have regular physio sessions to help keep her strong and supple! She also loves to learn new tricks and is always keen to work for a food (typical lab!), so she always enjoys our sessions, and it is a great opportunity for more bonding time as a bonus. π₯°
Feel free to get in touch if youβre curious about physio for your pet!
