Paws Control Dog Training Paws Control is a Devon based dog training service that provides puppy and dog training classes in our outside secure location near Barnstaple.

A North Devon based Dog Training Service offering group classes and 1-2-1 training for dogs and puppies of all ages and breeds in our secure outdoor location at Coxleigh Barton, Barnstaple Our puppy training classes are suitable for all puppies that have had all their vaccinations and includes basic manners and control exercises as well as socialisation and play facilities. We offer dog training

classes for all age and breeds and you can work towards your manners awards or just enjoy spending time with your dog learning new things. During the summer our fun agility sessions provide an element of exercise and fun for you and your dog in the north devon countryside. For dogs that are not suited to the class environment we also offer 1-2-1 training either in your home or at our secure location. Paws control can also offer behavioural consults for any problematic behaviours that your dog may be presenting and work through a behavioural modification plan to help solve these issues.

We are looking forward to our First Puppy Social with Brannams Vets. Contact us for details, next social is Tuesday 6th January, everyone welcome.

Puppy social

Next week (Tuesday 9th) we are delighted to hold our first puppy social.

These will be once a month for puppies aged between 8-12weeks once they have had their 1st vaccination. We are holding these on Tuesday evenings at 6pm in our lovely spacious waiting room.

One of our nurses will be here to answer any questions and show you around the practice but the social will be led by a local trainer from Paws Control Dog Training. We will touch on basic training and how to safely socialise your puppy.

Our next class is on 6th of January so if you are registering a new puppy with us or would like any further information then please contact the practice

The light from the centre of Paws Control has gone dim. A world that moves so fast, slowed down and stopped for us this afternoon, whilst our big yellow Ray of Sunshine "Big Baz" took his final breaths. He took with him a part of my heart that will never heal, and a pain that I felt so deep. At the heart of all I am, he was there, teaching me so I could help so many others. Big Baz, you can breath easy and run free, enjoying the fresh air in your lungs. Harry and Keira have shown you the way, where you will all wait until we meet again.

We have a few spaces left on our evening Puppy Course starting on Wednesday 9th July at 6.15pm. Paws Control Puppy School is fun and informative, we cover all Puppy basics as well as important social skills, including interacting with the other puppies and owners. In our fully enclosed training paddocks, you and your puppy will enjoy real life training, and have great fun at the same time. Come and join us on the 9th July for our four week course, at Coxleigh Barton.
