Tooth and Claw Specialist dog teeth cleaning in Barnham and Seaford. We use an ultrasonic toothbrush for the dogs' comfort as it is silent and doesn't vibrate.

We can remove plaque and tartar, improve breath, and help to prevent gum disease.

Koa did brilliantly for her first session and although she still has a baby tooth hanging around, most of her teeth are in great condition.

She then had a groom with Ziggy's Dog Grooming, so lots of pampering 🐶🦷🐾✨️

Got questions about dog teeth cleaning? Here's a little FAQ:

🦷 How does it work?
🐾 I use an ultrasonic toothbrush to break down tartar and kill bacteria on the teeth and gums. The toothbrush is silent and vibration-free, to keep your dog calm and comfortable.

🦷 What if my dog is nervous or stubborn?
🐾 Your dog's comfort is my top priority - I build up trust with them in the first session to make them feel safe. I have worked with dogs of all dispositions, and most dogs behave very well once they're on the grooming table away from their owners!

🦷 How long is the appointment?
🐾 A first appointment is one hour, which includes a consultation with you to discuss the treatment, time to build trust with your dog, a clean and descale, and before and after photos. Some dogs may require more hour-long appointments to get their teeth nice and clean, dependent on dental health and temperament. After this, they usually move on to maintenance sessions every 6-8 weeks, which last half an hour.

Many pups come in with a build up of plaque and tartar so we start off by removing as much as we can with some initial sessions, before moving on to maintenance sessions to keep the new pearly whites pearly and white! 🦷
