We’ve been busy adding some lovely new fences to the course! 🌳

A few more options for those who fancy a jump, with plenty of variety for horses and ponies of all abilities.

Remember, you don’t have to jump to enjoy Raygill! Our 3-mile off-road ride is perfect for a lovely hack too. 🌿

🐴 ONE WEEK TO GO!

Next Sunday we’re having our Junior Eventing Day at Raygill — a lovely relaxed day of dressage, show jumping and XC with Tracey Fox.

The whole idea is confidence and fun rather than jumping big. The XC fences can be as small as your child needs, so please don’t think they have to be experienced eventers!

Sunday 4 October • £75 per rider

If you’ve been thinking about it but weren’t sure whether your child or pony was “ready” — drop us a message. 💙

And if camp isn’t your thing, Raygill is still open for normal hacking bookings — £15 per horse for an hour around the parkland, with all the jumps completely optional.

Here we are having a go over the logs on one of the hills. Loads of fun!!

Mikey really is one in a million! An incredibly kind, safe and chilled pony who is absolutely wonderful around children. He loves little people and is the sort of pony who gives them endless confidence and fun.

But don’t let his laid-back nature fool you! Mikey LOVES his jumping and can turn his hoof to absolutely anything! Show jumping, XC, showing, hacking or just having fun in the field – he’s a cracking little all-rounder! 🏇
Regularly won in the show ring, sound with clean limbs and no lumps or bumps.

Safe and sensible when you need him to be, but equally happy to get stuck in and have some serious fun!
A truly special pony who deserves the very best little rider to love him. 🥰

🐴 JUNIOR 1-DAY EVENTING CAMP AT RAYGILL 🐴

Fancy having a go at all 3 phases of eventing in a really relaxed, friendly environment?

We’re holding a full, fun-filled day especially for junior riders who want to build confidence and have a go at:

✨ Dressage – test riding and helpful tips
✨ Show Jumping – small, friendly courses
✨ Cross Country – over our Raygill XC fences

Jump as small as you need to. This isn’t about jumping big — it’s about having fun, learning and giving riders and ponies confidence.

Riders will be taught in small groups throughout the day by Tracey Fox.

🥕 PLUS — we’ll be joined by a TopSpec Feed & Condition Specialist, who will give a talk and offer advice on feeding and condition as we head into winter.

A brilliant day for juniors who’d love to try eventing without the pressure of a competition environment.

£75 per person – places will be limited.

🍂 AUTUMN HACKING AT RAYGILL 🍂

Fancy getting off the roads this weekend? 🐴

Come and enjoy around 3 miles of off-road hacking through our parkland at Raygill, with hills, beck crossings, open fields and plenty of opportunities for a lovely canter.

There are also optional flagged jumps and logs from around 30cm upwards dotted around the ride — jump as much or as little as you like. You absolutely do not need to jump to enjoy Raygill.

Perfect for a change of scenery, getting horses out in the open, building confidence or simply having a fun ride with a friend.

A HUGE congratulations to our lovely neighbour Katie Magee and Wilf, finishing an incredible 2nd at the 2026 Defender Burghley Horse Trials! 🎉

What an absolutely phenomenal achievement at one of the toughest events in the world — and pretty special to have such talent right here on our doorstep at Raygill!

We’ve loved watching and cheering you on all weekend. ❤️

🌿 We're Open at Raygill Park Ride & Jump! 🐴

After an exhausting but fantastic week at Pony Club Camp, we're back home and ready to welcome you back to Raygill Park Ride & Jump!

The ground is currently firm, but thanks to the excellent grass cover across the parkland, it's still ideal if you're looking to give your horse or pony a gentle outing while looking after their legs.

Whether you fancy a relaxing hack around the beautiful parkland or want to enjoy the jumps, there's something for everyone. The varied terrain and rolling hills also make it the perfect place to keep your horse or pony fit and engaged.
