Rescue animals make incredible pets, but the initial few weeks / months can be hard for them, and for you! (I speak from experience!)

🌟Reiki can help 🌟

I start by giving a Reiki treatment in an environment they feel comfortable in, like their own bed / living room.

Second treatment I give the Reiki treatment in the car while it’s stationary.

We will continue like this with weekly treatments until the dog is happy and relaxed in the stationary car, and once that happens we’ll move on to short journeys, which we’ll build up.

💫 Are your existing pets struggling with the arrival of a new animal/person in the house?💫

These are my three girls, Lumi (cat) has only been with us since February and when she first arrived I thought ‘What have I done?’ More than once. (Many, many times!!!)

The dogs and cat hated each other, I’m talking scratching, hissing, chasing, barking, every single time they saw each other; it was hell!

But look at them now, I’m now very happy we rescued her and brought her home.

Reiki can really help settle and re ground animals coping with change.

I’m very excited to be starting my journey into the world of Zoopharmacognosy, which involves offering animals herbs and essential oils that are safe for them to self select.

Animals are very intuitive and know what they need, and I think herbs and oils will work really well alongside Reiki, to clear blocked energies and soothe any ailments.

My beautiful Megs is struggling at the moment, at almost 12 I think all the days of running through woods and across fields are catching up with her.

I’ll be giving her regular reiki treatments for a while to help her as best I can.

🐈‍⬛ Cat stress relief 🐈‍⬛

Jynx experienced some trauma a few days ago and as I began treatment last night, I’ve never seen a cat so eager to accept reiki energy.

Animals just know what they need, as you can see here as Jynx positioned himself close to the Rose Quartz crystal, which aids in emotional blockages and promotes self love and comfort.

If you have a cat suffering with stress I also thoroughly recommend using a catnip spray, it really soothes and calms.

🐈‍⬛ Cats love Reiki 🐈‍⬛

The majestic Jynx is having some anxiety and unease around strangers and some hierarchy issues with his cat brothers, he’s also over grooming.

This is his third session and he’s loving the Reiki and his human says it seems to be really helping with his issues.

Cats also love the healing energies of crystals, Jynx sought out this Citrine crystal in our session yesterday.
