Sometimes plain speaking is what is needed. We are in a heatwave. It is very difficult for all of us, and extremely difficult for our pets. Just do all that you can to keep them cool. Skip the daily walk unless you can do it when the temperature is less than 20 C. It isn't going to last forever. A few days of missed walks is far better than treating a heatstroke patient. Call us to discuss, we're happy to help.

It is that time of year - tick season. All dogs are at risk of ticks. It’s the exposure to ticks that matters, not the dog’s breed, age or s*x. To make sure your pets are tick-free, speak to us and learn how to become familiar with tick protection and removal methods.

We are looking to add another enthusiastic, experienced RVN to our growing practice. We offer general and specialist small animal veterinary services in a family friendly, independently owned, cheerful environment.

Cats are separated from dogs throughout their entire experience in our surgery – separate waiting areas, consult rooms, prep rooms, theatres and wards.

Varied clinical caseload, no two days are the same! Nurses rotate through a variety of roles including theatre, inpatient care, dispensary, and consults. Excellent opportunity for career progression. Other symptoms might be harder to spot depending on how cooperative your pet is – for more information click the link, and of course, our vets and nurses are available to give your pet a full dental check over at your next appointment!
