With a lifetimes experience working with dogs, Susan Jones can offer a unique photography service using natural light to portray your best friend in a fun and memorable way! As such, my photography is known for being outdoors in natural light, although I can work indoors if required. I have worked mostly with dogs (too many breeds to name, agility, showing, handling, flyball, training), and horses

(barn scenes, show jumping, pony club), but am always looking for new projects and hope to increase my other pets portfolio over the coming months. PLEASE NOTE - My photography is a hobby which I do part time alongside retail work AND volunteering projects.

I joined my Aunt from London on a lovely Photo Walk with her rescue dog, Rudi. He loved the freedom of the cycle path and even went for an involuntary swim in the river! The walk ended in the pub for a well earned rest and cold drink before catching a bus home.

Had a lovely weekend at PODS Easter show. I based myself in the Agility ring, so apologies to anyone I missed. Photos will be sorted and online over the coming weeks, I hope. I fly to Sweden on Thursday for the summer (working as a field research assistant on breeding birds) so not sure what the internet will be like out there.

Paula is fostering this lovely Staffy and decided to bring him along to the weekend's activities for some fun. At Agility on Saturday, after some persuasion he got the hang of the jumps, but didn't like the look of the tunnel. Then on Sunday we took him to a local companion show where he won 3rd prize in the AV Toy/ Utility/ Terrier class (lots of nice dogs in there too!) He loves posing for the camera and gets on well with other dogs and people. I really enjoyed taking photos of him, and hope they can help him find a forever home.

Had a lovely morning at PODS today catching up with everyone. Looking forward to the show next weekend. PLEASE NOTE - I will not be able to photograph every person/ dog in every ring. If you wish for me to take photos, please speak to me BEFORE your class.

My return to Tai Lawr also marked the re-start of training after wet weather left the fields underwater for much of the winter. It was great to see lots of old faces and many new. I think the dogs have all missed each other too, with plenty of romping towards the end!

A return to PODS today - it's only been about 6 months! Great to see everyone again and good to know that the dogs all still love getting their photos taken while running courses. Met some gorgeous puppies who came along for a social visit and took some romping photos too! Only 400 to sort through so they may be online tomorrow.
