Little bit of an upgrade and moving in the right direction! Started basic movement again with the hand and excersizes. Meeting with the surgeon for post-op review on May 4th. Slowly getting back into small work and hopefully be back up to full running speed soon 🤞🏻

Dear clients, followers and friends.
Surgery went well, but the tendon had significantly thickened causing the issues. I am not be able to use my right hand until atleast the end of the month, so please if you have anything you are considering for taxidermy please freeze this as soon as possible. Business will resume as soon as possible!

Today is my tendon surgery on my right wrist, and I will be out of the running for a little while. It'll be an interesting Valentines day!

This year has certainly been a challenging one, and we're not through yet, but slowly getting back up to running speed.

A few more hurdles to cross, most noteably surgery on my wrist to fix the tendons, but after that we'll be back up to full business again.

And apologies for the radio silence! There's always more to do than you initially think with a studio rebuild and move, but i'm almost ready to go back to business!

Houwers Taxidermy is nearing the completion of the newly build studio, and i am preparing to pack up and move the old studio and everything in it.

As such, I am currently not taking on new commissions, to try and make the move as smooth as possible. I am aiming to be fully up and running again by the end of the summer.

It has been a hard year, with the long-term relationship breakup, the move that followed, along with trying to build the new studio and falling for a dodgy builder. And, on top of all this, my constant canine companion falling seriously ill. I am behind in my work because of all this, and I will try my best to get everyone sorted as soon as possible.

The end, and new start, is in sight.
