I believe we have contacted everyone that had an appointment booked to let them know about the salon closure and offer alternative appointments at different locations.

If we have missed anyone, please send us a message and let us know.

For those following Ghislaine to Barklife in Llandegfan (and eventually Llangefni), I'd like to direct you to my page This is where all my future updates will be from now on and where you can contact via messenger or find my contact number for texts or WhatsApp 📱📞

We will be keeping the Muddy Paws page up for a little while so everyone can see the post about the closure and find more information about alternatives.

To my wonderful customers,

After 4 amazing years at Muddy Paws, today was my last day and I've been honoured to spend it with these gorgeous doggies 😍🥰😍

As some of you know, following an ongoing pretty serious back injury a few weeks ago, I had to make the difficult and upsetting decision to take a step back and stop grooming for my own health. It was not a decision I made easily and saying goodbye to my amazing customers over the last few weeks has been incredibly hard.

I want to thank you all for your kind words, presents, cards and most of all your loyalty and support over the years. It has truly been a privilege to look after your dogs and meet so many lovely people.

I'd hoped that Muddy Paws would continue without me but unfortunately that wasn't to be the case. My amazing friend and colleague Ghislaine will be setting up her own dog grooming business; Strut Your Scruff in the new year and I can't think of a better, more caring and qualified person to recommend to carry on your fur babies grooms in my absence.

Yesterday's lovely lot, all ready for Santa Paws 🎅 🐾🥰🐕 Can't believe these guys were the last customers I'll see in Muddy Paws 😭

I can't thank every one of you enough for all your support, encouragement, long chats and for trusting me with a member of your family. I'm honoured so many have been so happy with my work, they kept coming back! Which allowed me to build a bond with the dogs ❤️
I'll miss all the furry friends I've made and hopefully I'm able to continue grooming some of them in future too 🤞❤️

Hi everyone,

We have to share some bad news today.

Yesterday, Steph made the decision to close the salon, with the last day being December 23rd. I know this will surprise and disappoint many of you, as it has us.

We can only apologise for the short notice and want to say how grateful we are to have met such wonderful customers and groomed so so many lovely dogs. We thank you so much for all your support over the years we have been open.

Although we haven't had much time to plan our next steps, we wanted to let everyone know as soon as we could but will still be contacting anyone booked in for the new year personally as well, as soon as we can.

You may wonder what we will be doing with ourselves next.
As many of you already know, Sam was leaving anyway and starts her new role in January. We wish her the best of luck!

Ghislaine will be converting her utility into a professional salon space to continue grooming from her home in Llangefni. If you'd like to keep up to date with progress, please follow Strut Your Scruff https://www.facebook.com/share/1DKDu2ixE1/ on facebook or message to be added to the list for contact in the new year if you'd like priority as soon as she can take bookings. She'd love to continue grooming all your gorgeous pups! 🥰
