Dog Grooming Salon Hello and welcome to W.A.G.S.! I groom from home in a log cabin in the garden Monday to Friday.

I originally qualified as a vet nurse and after having children decided to retrain as a dog groomer through Arbroath College. I have furthered my education over the years attending courses run by Colin Taylor, Asian fusion stylist Pammy Carmichael, T Touch Workshops and more recently IMDT Dog Training. I have over 10 years grooming experience so am confident handling and grooming all breeds, in addition to creating bespoke haircuts for those who dare to be a little different!

I just adore this boy! One of only 2 Scottie’s left on my books, did you know that only 387 puppies were registered by the Kennel Club in 2024? This places the breed on the “to watch” list. Wouldn’t be terrible if we lost Scotland most iconic breed?!

My wee old chum Freddy Westiepoo, I must have been grooming this boy for over 12 years now. He used to be incredibly camera shy, until I discovered he will literally sell his soul for a treat 😂

It’s lovely to groom a breed that you don’t see every day, 2 in one day is an extra special treat! These 2 soft coated wheaten terriers are actually sisters from the same litter but haven’t seen each other in years.

A few of you have commented this week about how lovely your dogs smell and how soft they feel and this shampoo is the reason why! This is the first time I’ve tried this particular one and I just love how the fruity smell makes me feel like summer is just around the corner! Bugslugs also sell their products in smaller bottles for use at home.

Handsome Ruben, one of the nicest, polite and well mannered dogs I’ve ever met. He waits for me to open the bath, hops in and out again then jumps on the table - all without me having to even ask him 🥰
On top of that his family do an incredible job of keeping his coat tangle free 🙌🏼
