🐾Little update🐾
Not quite a week post surgery and Scout is bossing her early recovery routine😁
5 min lead walks a few times a day alongside strict crate rest, and she has been putting weight on that leg almost normally for a few days now……another week or so with the dressing (and welly boot) and she can do a little more.
Slow and steady wins the race💪🏼🤞🏼

Other side of banbury, run by a friend of mine. Scout and I have yet to visit but it will be on the list when she’s allowed off lead again!🐾

Thank you for all your well wishes, offers of help, and asking after Scout today……🥰
She came home last night exhausted and a little away with the fairies, but she’s brighter today if still very tired.
And thank goodness for her crate training as a pup which she hasn’t forgotten🙌🏼 Testament to crate training being an important part of training should you ever have to enforce it for these reasons.

Apologies for being a bit out of sorts this week……
Some of you I’ve seen and briefly explained, but poor Scout has been in the wars this week and has fractured her hock joint.
It’s pretty bad but X-rays and CT scans have shown it’s not as worse case as initially thought……..she’ll have surgery next week and then months of rehab, from which she should have as close to normal function as possible, if all goes well🤞🏼
So I’m sorry for the rushing around/shorter walks/last min planning the past couple days, but I’m so grateful to have such supportive and understanding clients🙏🏼
Huge thank you to Ewan at Taylor Vets for seeing her this week and taking time to reassure me whilst being incredibly thorough and sympathetic in the best way forward, referring us to the orthopaedic specialist. So grateful☺️
