In a sector that’s ever changing, it’s important to keep upto date with the latest research & to have the opportunity to discuss and collaborate with colleagues.

Emma attended the National AssociaNational Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) where Equine Hydrotherapy, latest research on Laser Therapy & Asymmetry patterns were just a few of the hot topics discussed, Thankyou NAVP for putting on a great conference.

Next stop on the month of CPD catch up , the IRVAP & IEH conference for Tash & Emma on Friday….it’s a month of continued learning 😅

🌟Part- time freelance groom - for private ponies 🌟

We are looking for a part - time ( mornings) local freelance groom to assist with Marston Stud owner, Natasha Halliday’s , children’s ponies 🐴

Ideally you will be local and able to commit to 2-3hrs mornings , 4-5 days a week . A lightweight rider, able to ride a 14.2hh pony would be perfect or alternatively happy to ride & lead from one of owners horses & able to lunge.
Currently 3 ponies- 1 x 11.2hh (retired), a 12.2hh & a 14.2hh, with an additional 14.2hh+ possibly joining in near future.

⭐️Equine Performance/ Therapy/ Rehabilitation Degree Student placement opportunities ⭐️

We are currently opening up applications for degree students seeking placement opportunities for the 2025/2026 academic year, with possibility of additional paid freelance hours alongside placement for the right candidate, if wanted.

We are an Equine Hydrotherapy & Rehabilitation yard based at the historically successful and long-established Marston Stud on the Northamptonshire/ Oxfordshire border.
Offering rehabilitation and hydrotherapy services, incl. water treadmill and spa, to inpatients and walk in clients and specialise in race & performance horses.

We also have a mix of youngstock, bloodstock, sport horses and a handful of broodmares grazing with us.

We are well suited to students currently studying Equine Performance / Equine Therapy/ Equine Rehabilitation degrees.

No two days are ever the same and current students have had the opportunity to observe and gain hands on experience with working horses on the water treadmill, rehabilitation plans, observing veterinary investigations & procedures: incl. Lameness investigations, diagnostic ultrasounds, xrays, PRP/Prostride treatments, gastroscopes, post – operative care, breeding work .

Applicants must have prior experience with sport & / or race horses .
