In honour of my late cat Petal, I aim to help as many cats as possible find their furrever loving family 🐱 based 20 minutes from Banbridge/Newry, N.Ireland

Weasley update ❤️

Little man is doing well 🙏 still working to get his skin under control, as every time I clear up one rash spot it pops up in a new area 😿

He’s getting cream applied daily to keep it as under control as we can atm, I believe it’s food allergies causing it so he’s on a gastro food atm to clear his diarrhoea up and then I’ll hopefully be able to transition him onto a hypoallergenic food 🤞

It’s been 2 years since I lost my wee Petal 💔

I didn’t have long with her (I took her in at 14 years old) but the 3 years I did have with her were amazing, she was just the most perfect little cat and I’m so glad she came to me ❤️

Two customers came into the pet shop I was working in at the time, and were telling me about her and how they were looking a rescue space for her, but knowing how hard a rescue would be on a 14 year old cat I took her home the next day, she then had a lot of issues with her thyroid that needed constant medication, and we got her through to 17 before her weight dropped from what me and my vet assumed was cancer (didn’t want to put her through unnecessary tests) we ruled out all other causes and upped her thyroid medication which didn’t work 💔

Sending her over rainbow bridge was hard, but I was just so happy that she spent her last few years happy and so loved, I miss her everyday, and she truely made me see what I could do to help others like her ❤️

Thankyou all for supporting me on this journey, it not only allows me to help cats, but it keeps my wee Petal’s memory alive ❤️

Update: 🌈RIP baby 💔🌈

Little update on baby Zurg, who is now in the care of my friend Yvonne's Independent Cat Rescue (Newtownabbey)

He wasn’t getting enough milk from Tabitha even though he was eating often, and because her kittens are 6 weeks, they were too much for little Zurg to handle, he was starting to lose weight so Yvonne and myself managed to get him latched on to his new foster mummy, Camilla who is far better suited for him 🥰

Hopefully his weight starts going up 🤞 he’s still fighting 🙏

Baby Zurg is still fighting strong 💪

He’s not gaining weight yet but he hasn’t lost any since last night 🙏

He does have quite a few wounds on his wee head, I’m going to give them a wee clean now with warm salt water ❤️

This little one I’m now calling baby Zurg was found in a field being attacked by a cat

He’s only been born today or in the last few days

I brought him to the emergency vet but they couldn’t find any wounds so he’s back home with me, and I’m working on getting Tabitha to accept him which is going well so far, I’m keeping a really close eye on him and will be up all night with him ❤️

Praying he makes it 🤞

He’s 2/3 years old

Microchipped and neutered

Had his first vaccines and due to have second ones soon but can do this with his new family or with me if he’s still here

Can’t live with kids, could live with another cat with slow introductions

Will need time to settle in

Safe outdoor access needed for when he’s fully settled
