What a horse! What a day!
Bentley and Bruce picked up 2nd place in the FEI Eventing 2* at Cornbury House Horse Trials but they just missed out on Bruce’s weight in Hawkstone. The consultation prize was an impromptu selfie with the Duchess of Edinburgh at the prize giving 😂 👑 horses.

Double clear BSJA Thursdays at Rectory Farm continue in 2024!
Aston client, Lucy Henry popped super cute double clear in the 1.10m.
Bruce on 6yo Love Me de Virton Z placed 2nd in the 1.00m and 4th in the 1.05 open . Bentley finished 2nd in the 1.10m

All sections of the British Horse Society BHS I Stage 5 examination for Elite riders passed with flying colours.
Step 1. Ridden horse, Coaching and Working from the ground ✅✅✅
Back to school for the next sections.
It’s been a great process of learning, challenging my approach to coaching, recognising strengths and developing weaknesses.
Self reflection and learning for improvement.

Never stop learning.
I undertook this challenge with the simple goal of a qualification.
How wrong I was.
What a journey.
Met some incredible coaches along the way, embraced new ideas, challenged myself and my own approach to coaching and came through with a better mindset to what I can deliver next as a coach.
Assessment day was tougher than any day eventing but the feedback on my coaching made the stress worthwhile.
Thank you to everyone who has helped, pushed, channeled, prodded and encouraged me to do this!

British Eventing celebrates being able to offer an even wider reach of Level 3 coaches to their membership, with seven more joining their ranks having recently passed their BECC Level 3 qualification.

The seven coaches that BE extend congratulations to on achieving their Level 3, are as follows;

Very pleased for this young 6yo horse to be sitting in the top 5 of all horses competing in the UK right now!
All levels, all finishing scores count for the Power average and Champagner is in the mix.
Nice to see Kiwis on top of the leaderboard with ahead of me in 4th place.

Lucy & All Fours. Amazing horses.
Lucy was my first 4* horse back in the days of weights, penalty zones and steeplechase.
Ali (Ngamatea All Fours) was the horse that took me to the UK.
