Limousin cattle breeders from across Northern Ireland had a day-out to remember at this year’s Castlewellan Show.

The NI Limousin Cattle Club are delighted to welcome Mr Bruce Goldie to judge our NI Limousin Championships at Castlewellan Show tomorrow!

Bruce Goldie is from the Goldies herd based near Dumfries, Scotland. The family run approx 70 pedigree Limousin cows along with small flocks of sheep. Bruce has previously judged at Balmoral, the Highland and Great Yorkshire shows along with the anniversary Limousin show at Carlisle. Bruce himself is no stranger to the showring with his most recent repeated overall championship successes at the Carlisle and Stirling bull sales.

Commenting ahead of the show tomorrow, Bruce said, "I am really looking forward to judging at Castlewellan show."

The club would like to extend our welcome to Bruce and his family to Northern Ireland and wish all NILCC exhibitors the best of luck in the sunny showring tomorrow!
