So folks just a little update as things have taken a turn for the worse unfortunately.

I had planned to be back to work Tomorrow (Tuesday) but sadly this is not going to happen. I had to have another day’s treatment today at the causeway hospital after being sent directly by my doctor as things have actually got worse rather than better.

The good news is I got home tonight at my request however need to go back tomorrow and Wednesday for definite for more treatment. I will know more after Wednesday what is happening however I have been advised at least a week.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to change some more appointments and I will be in touch as soon as possible.

I promise I will work every hour god sends to get everyone done as soon as I’m able but at the moment again taking it day by day..

Sadly also today our Alfie Boyd has also taken a turn for the worse and is also spending the night at the vets. He is very unwell and I’m actually thinking of him at the moment more than myself.. I really just wish I could forward time a couple of weeks to get this nightmare over…

Just a little message to let all upcoming weeks clients know I have ended up in hospital with a very very bad hand infection due to dog hair embedded between my fingers.

Hopefully get home soon but unsure about up and coming appointments at the start of next week.

Hopefully will know better tomorrow however if you do not hear from me appointments WILL be going ahead as normal and reminders sent out tomorrow (Sunday)

My head is normally up in the clouds but with the lead up to Christmas it’s even worse 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 so if anyone hasn’t there next appointment and is waiting on me messaging PLEASE drop us a we message as I often forget.

Good afternoon folks looking for a bit of information for anyone reading this that has a diabetic dog.

I’m wishing to know what food your diabetic dog eats.

Our Alfie is now been diabetic for about 10 weeks and we had to change his complete diet/food we changed him to James well beloved senior as we didn’t want to go down the road of the real expensive food. We balanced his insulin with this new food and everything was going great however he has now decided he doesn’t like it anymore 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

Just wanted to know if anyone reading this has a diabetic dog what food do you give them.

We know you just can’t go out and lift any food and whatever we change him to we will have to get his insulin sorted again but he needs to eat.

Ideally we are looking a food you can go in and buy rather than go down the prescription route.

Good evening folks it’s that time again Christmas crazy 🎄

We do put a we post up every year regarding or December appointments as you can all appreciate it’s a crazy time of the year and extremely busy.

Can we please ask EVERYONE to be on time for their appointment with drop off and pick up.
Unfortunately we don’t have any room for manoeuvre and any late arrivals will possibly be turned away and charged as we will NOT eat into anyone else’s appointment. Late pickups may also be charged a fee

If anyone wishes to cancel an appointment we require 24 hours notice or the appointment must be paid for.

As from Monday morning (1st Dec) we will have less time to answer phones or respond to messages however we will do our best.

We are ready to go with the red bull and boost on tap 🤣 we will see you all soon.

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for recommendations for a dog homestay or sitter who can care for my diabetic dog (insulin-dependent) and his big brother Bobby while I’m away, 4 days.

My diabetic boy needs someone who’s comfortable giving insulin injections and can stick to a regular feeding and medication schedule. Both dogs are gentle and loving — they just need a safe, caring environment.

If you know of anyone experienced with special-needs pets or a homestay that can handle medical care, please share your suggestions or tag them below.

So after a week or so running back and forth to the doggy doctors with Big Alfie Boyd we finally have the answer.

Alfie is now a diabetic 😢 with daily injections of insulin and a big lifestyle change hopefully we can level this out.

Being told he will be on injections the rest of his life is going to be hard however I do think the lifestyle change for the big man is going to be the hardest as he loves his grub.

Hopefully he will feel better in a few weeks when we get the insulin level out.
