The USPCA are running a Snip&Chip campaign for people receiving benefits. This is primarily for cats but dog owners can get a discounted microchip.
Cat owners can get their cats neutered for £30 and microchipped for £5.
Dog owners can get their dogs microchipped for £5.

Huge congratulations to our lovely receptionist Heather, who’s just been to Crufts with her Jack Russell Terriers 🐾

She’s absolutely smashed it and came home with:

🏆 Best Puppy Bitch
🏆 Best Bitch

We’re all so proud of her—what an amazing achievement! 💙

On top of that, Heather has also recently opened her own home boarding kennels, so it’s all very exciting for her at the moment! 🎉

🐾 Giant puppies!🐾

These gorgeous 12-week-old Great Dane puppies came in to see us for their second vaccinations — and they definitely turned a few heads! 😍

At just 12 weeks old they already weigh 15 kg… and they still have lots of growing to do! Great Danes are known as gentle giants, and judging by these sweet faces, we think they’re going to live up to the title.

Puppy vaccinations are a vital part of keeping young dogs protected while their immune systems are still developing. Today’s visit included their second vaccine, health check, and plenty of cuddles from the team. 🩺💉

🐾 Puppy Visit Day! 🐾

We had the sweetest little visitors in the clinic today! 💛

This beautiful litter of 5-week-old Springer Spaniel pups came in to see one of our veterinary nurses for their health check and first worming treatment. 🩺✨

All pups were incredibly brave (and very wriggly!) while getting their nose-to-tail checks. Early health checks and regular worming are so important to give puppies the best start in life — and these little ones are off to a great start! 🐶💕

A huge congratulations to Grace, our wonderful veterinary nurse, who has officially passed her Final Practical Examinations and is now joining the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Register for Veterinary Nurses! 👏✨

This is an incredible achievement and a true reflection of her dedication, compassion, and countless hours of hard work. From supporting patients through surgery to comforting nervous pets (and their owners!), Grace consistently goes above and beyond — and we couldn’t be prouder. 💙
