We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Joseph (Joe) Patton, who served as President of the Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster from 1969 to 1971.

Joe was a dedicated leader, a passionate advocate for young people in agriculture, and a true friend to our organisation.

His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the enduring spirit of community he helped foster within YFCU. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joe’s family, friends, and all who knew and admired him.

Thank you, Joe, for your leadership, service, and commitment. You will be fondly remembered.

We held a few practices for our members alongside Glens Young Farmers Club to help them be prepared for the competition. Thank you to Andy McNeill and Robin Orr for allowing us to use their farm for practices and helped in preparing our members. It is very much appreciated 😃🐄

🌟 This Thursday, we had the pleasure of hosting our home club meeting at the Stables. We were thrilled to welcome Casey from Wild Tails! 🐾

Casey brought along some amazing exotic animals from his sanctuary, and we had the chance to meet a snake 🐍, skunk 🦨, armadillo 🦔, meerkat 🦦, millipede 🪱, and even a hedgehog 🦔! It was such a unique experience, and everyone was in awe of the incredible creatures he cares for. 🌿

A huge thank you to Casey for taking the time to visit us and share his passion for wildlife conservation. We truly appreciate it! 🙏
