Hi everyone, please give this a read! It's a new idea started this year and will help bring unexpected joy to so many 💝 the cut-off date for the drop off points is before this Saturday, 7th, however I will be accepting donations for the foreseeable. The cut off point is to allow time to sort, wrap and distribute the gifts for this Christmas but I will take donations and store them in prep for next year! To avoid disappointment check my opening hours, I'm open 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday typically but I'm working extra hours right up to Christmas eve. Closed from Christmas day and reopening Monday 6th January so feel free to drop in your unwanted gifts to me at Gail's Grooming anytime this year or next. Thank you all so much in advance, any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated by us and treasured by the elderly who otherwise would go without 💚💜
💚🎁💚THERE'S STILL TIME: It's heartbreaking to think how many folk in our local care homes will not receive a gift to open this Christmas Day...and how many unwanted gifts end up in cupboards and drawers, or in landfill in the new year. Our good friends in the Countryside Custodians environmental group have organised a 'Pass the Parcel' campaign to collect unwanted gifts that would be suitable for an elderly resident in a care home such as a cozy blanket or a toiletry set that you don't want so that they can pass them on to someone who would really appreciate it. No food or drinks please.
💚♻️💚This is a regifting campaign so they are not encouraging new gifts to be bought, just gifts that you either don't need or can't use.
🎁Gifts can be dropped off at the following places BEFORE SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER. The Custodians team will look after wrapping and delivering them to the care homes in time for Christmas. Every donation really will be appreciated, so please give what you can.
