Meet Pepper. This sweet girl made use of our vaccine amnesty as her annual vaccines had lapsed, and she was due to go into a cattery. With our amnesty, Pepper got a restarted course of vaccines for just the price of a booster alone!! Isn't she adorable?!!๐Ÿ˜ป

May is National Veterinary nurse appreciation month so we thought weโ€™d take this opportunity to continue with our team introductions to reintroduce our veterinary nurse, who weโ€™re sure is no stranger to anyone:

โœจ Julie โœจ

Julie is our veterinary nurse who without, our practice could not function! Julie carries out our nurse consults including post op checks, weigh and worm checks, second vaccines and nail trims, to name but a few! She also preps patients for surgery, monitors them whilst under anaesthetic and supports them in recovery! She also cares for our inpatients, prepares the kits for our surgeries and also can be found helping on reception too! We donโ€™t know how she manages to do it all!

Julie enjoys all aspects of her job but has a particular soft spot for the puppies that come in to see her for their weight checks to ensure they are wormed correctly! And when theyโ€™re as cute as they are in the picture below, we can see why she enjoys seeing them come in! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ

Continuing with our team introductions once again, with final member of our receptionist team. A relatively new face to the team but weโ€™re sure a lot of you have already met her:

โœจ Hannah โœจ

Hannah joined our team back in September, and can be seen helping on both small and farm animal reception, mostly in the evenings and on Saturdays! Hannah is currently in year 1 of A levels and hopes to one day be a vet herself! Hannah enjoys seeing all the pets coming through the door and gaining an insight into how the veterinary practice works to hopefully help her one day when sheโ€™s out on the road or in the consult room herself!

Patricia is our branch supervisor and longest serving staff member, having worked here from before the practice was even a Parklands branch! As she claims herself part of the furniture. Recently we had an adorable litter of puppies into the clinic! Just two weeks old, they were in to see nurse Julie for a weigh and worm to ensure they were getting the correct dosage to keep them healthy and worm free!
Their mummy Freya was in to see our vet Kim for a health check post whelping to ensure she was happy and healthy and able to keep doing a super job raising her gorgeous puppies ๐Ÿพ

If you have any puppies of your own, be that a litter or a new addition to your family - feel free to contact us to get booked in for a weigh and worm appointment to ensure everyone remains healthy and parasite free! ๐Ÿถ
