We are open to expressions of interest for our beloved Dumbledore 🩶 This goes without saying but please - serious enquires only. Homes will be vetted.

Dumbledore is a stunning model of a cob. A true HW, with substance, style and 9 3/4” of bone. He is straight and correct, and is a proper stamp of a cob. He has three correct paces, a super walk, straight as a gun barrel in trot, and has a lovely, uphill canter. He is light in your hand and off the leg, responsive to aids but not sharp or silly.

Dumbledore is an intelligent and kind horse. He is a quick leaner and enjoys his job. He does not require hours of schooling during the week or a days worth of working in at a show. He is currently ridden 2 - 3 times a week and gets about 10 minutes warm up before classes. He is a true professional in all he does and takes everything in his stride. He would suit an amateur that wants to go all the way or would be a perfect addition to any professional yard. We have no doubt that this cob will stand top of the line at HOYS. He is still young and will only get better with time. He is the easiest horse to do in every way imaginable and is just a pleasure to have on the yard. He regularly gives pony rides after his classes and just adores his little jockeys.

Dumbledore is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company. As well as his shows, he enjoys pleasure rides and trips to the beach.

Dumbledore is good to do in all ways - good to shoe, groom, bathe, tack up, clip, turn out and catch etc. No vices in or out of the stable, on the ground or under saddle. He is happy to live in or out. Has lived in a mixed herd. He is used to dogs, tractors, sheep, donkeys etc. Up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and physio. Travels in a box or lorry. Full history known.

As you all know, we do not currently operate a waiting list. However, due to very high demand we are thinking of trialing an early notification type system via a WhatsApp group. Members will be notified of when adverts will be posted so they can set their alarms and get a “first look”.

We have not operated any sort of waiting list previously as we think it’s more fair to all, but we are also open to trying something new.

What a useful type this lady is! A true Irish hunter type, a very substantial and stylish gal.

Dani has three good paces and has been introduced to some natural type fences and a few small coloured poles. She will make an excellent hunter for the coming season, or just be a super all round family type for fun rides, hacking and low level competition. She is not marish in the slightest so I don’t want to hear any “I want a gelding” nonsense.

Dani has been out to Toome Fair for a day out and was ridden the whole day by a teenage girl who loved her. Nothing phases her the whole day - horses and traps, the crowds, loud speakers etc. A solid and confident mare.

Dani is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company.

Dani is good to do in all ways - good to shoe, groom, bathe, tack up, clip, turn out and catch etc. No vices in or out of the stable, on the ground or under saddle. She is happy to live in or out. Del Boy is the equine definition of “Unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In My Lane. Focused. Flourishing.” This lad has one brain cell and it bounces about in his head like the old DVD standby screen. He runs off good vibes and good vibes only.

Del Boy is a stunning model of a horse. A compact and sturdy lad, a proper small Irish hunter type. We cannot say enough good things about him. He is the coolest cucumber in the fridge both on the ground and under saddle. Nothing fazes this boy, and believe me, we have tried. He will be the ultimate fun allrounder for a teenager or even a family share. He has Bay Gelding Syndrome and is the sort of horse to be totally obsessed with and in love with his person.

He has three nice paces and is starting to come into himself with his jumping. A genuine low mileage horse. He was lightly hunted this season and is foot perfect out with the hounds. The drunker you are, the steadier he will be for you. Speaking from experience. He is an absolute gem to hunt, he does his own thing and minds his own business. If you’re feeling nervous and don’t want to jump, totally fine! But if you’ve had a few too many and fancy a pop, also totally fine! He is the sort of horse that adjusts himself to his rider. If you are more capable, he will pick up and perform for you, but he is just as happy to tootle about with a younger rider. He has Field Mastered, carted a Mummy about and baby sat kids and ponies. He has ridden to Bloodhounds and Foxhounds and is happy to go anywhere in the field. Snaffle mouthed at all times. He can be a little sassy at times if feeling well of himself but there is not a bad hair on his body and we would happily put anyone on him.

He is straight and correct, with no lumps or bumps. He would make a lovely 153 type if you were that way inclined.

Del Boy is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company.
