Meet Scout — our competition winner 🐶✨

Scout’s story is a special one. Diagnosed with diabetes, she’s now on a very restricted diet, meaning no treats can be used in her training right now.

So we had to take a different approach… and she absolutely smashed it 👏 Instead of food, we used a Tug-E-Nuff toy as her reward, and her focus, drive, and engagement were brilliant from the start.

We worked on recall, loose lead walking, no jumping up, and building better attention on her owner in real-life situations. We also introduced a mat settle exercise to help her relax and switch off in busy or new environments like cafés.

She’s such a clever, switched-on girl, and it was amazing to see how quickly she adapted once we found what motivated her ☺️ It was a real pleasure working with Scout and her owner.
