What a busy year 2024 has been😁

Lucy got her driving test & a car so she could expand her cat sitting home service

Lucy also finished her Animal Management Extended Diploma with Distinction Star ⭐️

We got Benny 🐶(who will be 6 months old tomorrow) from a rescue after his mummy was dumped pregnant.

We welcomed a few new doggies and many repeat guests. Your dogs are part of our family and our customers are now friends ❤️

Thankyou all for the love & support and for letting us share in the love, care & lives of your furbabies 🐶

Grateful for those that like & comment on our posts. We don’t advertise but so grateful for all the tags it means a lot 🥰. Lots of love to fellow pet business owners that are now friends (must actually find the time to meet for that coffee!)

Here’s to another busy year. We look forward to welcoming your babies, walking them & house visits. We are practically fully booked for 2025 and some dates in 2026.

Rula was here for her holibops last week. Needless to say she didn’t need any settling in as this is her 2nd home ❤️

Benny just loves Rula as she’s always up for stick or ball play. He’s like her naughty little brother.

She went home to her own house late Friday night for a rest (from Benny!) but was back today for a few hours.

Benny was soooo excited to see her after 1 day apart. I’m don’t think Rula shared his excitement 😂😂

Benji was booked for a check-in but I kidnapped him for a few hours as I hadn’t had a cuddle for ages 🥰

I was so happy that Chris won. Well deserved and such an inspiration. The dogs all slept through it and didn’t share my enthusiasm!

Winnie ‘up to snow good’. That’s a bluff. She’s a wee gem. Winnie was here last Saturday too while her mummy was putting on an incredible show and has another one today. Winnie knows that a walk now means blankies, cuddles and the fire later to watch Strictly final. Look at that face. Not impressed 😂 would rather be snuggling than walking 🥰

Welcome new home boarder Waffle who is here for the night as a practice run for her holibops in May. Her family are shopping til they drop today and having a family meal tomorrow. Lots & lots of sniffing

Milo was booked in for a walk - he was also kidnapped!

Went straight to the stairgate to get up to Lucy’s room where he had cuddles on her bed while I was walking Bobby & Sully

Then it was Milo, Benny & Teddy’s turn. Benny thinks Milo is his big bro. What a great big bro he is. Joined at the hip these 2. Milo really looks out for Benny it’s so sweet 🥰

Not so busy today so instead of Bobby’s walk I kidnapped him for a while (got his walk as well). Bobby is used to walking in the park so it’s good The Pawsitive Place it up every now & again with heavy traffic to keep him used to noise & commotion.

He loves a good chase as does Benny which he can’t get in the park.

These are from 2 weeks ago on just a normal dog walk day ie windy & raining as usual 😅

Poor Teddy was a laughing stock when our dry & clean afternoon day care buddies arrived and saw him in his dressing gown 🙈

Please stop buying internet puppies from sites like Facebook Gumtree & Dogs.ie…….

No responsible breeder will be selling pups in the month of December or early January….

Please teach your children that Santa doesn’t give puppies or live pets as presents……..

This weekend we had little rescue Elsie. Elsie is a pug cross, only 15 weeks old. Cutie patootie ❤️

She was found on the streets in Belfast at 8 weeks old 🥺, was in foster care and now adopted by her lovely furever family who were away on a trip planned long before her arrival.

Not many pics as Elsie & Benny didn’t stop long enough all weekend to get a decent pic 🤣

Quiet day here….well a “normal Sunday” for most people but a novelty for me having 1/2 a day off and although I love all the visiting dogs, I have really enjoyed a couple of hours off. This job really is 24/7 and it is tough!!

We had a 10 night cancellation….well it wasn’t exactly cancelled! When I sent a reminder last week I was told plans had changed. But I hadn’t been told 😢

Please, please if your plans change let me know!
It only takes 10 seconds to send me a message saying not required any longer. I gave up my job to care for your dogs 24/7. I’m also a single mum. I’ve a mortgage and house to pay on my own. Not sending me a text to cancel means I have 10 nights of no income!!

How would you feel if you went into work and your boss said to go home that you weren’t needed for 10 days but they forgot to tell you and you also weren’t getting paid for 10 days?

Not only a huge loss of income for me but so many deserving little pups and families have been turned away for months.

On a positive - Wilson was booked in for a check-in visit at lunchtime on Thursday and last minute plans changed and I was able to take him for an overnight instead 💙

Also had a last minute request for a 15 week old puppy that the owners had just got (earlier than expected but they had a weekend Santa experience booked and couldn’t let the kids down). This wee pup was just adopted after being in foster care since she found abandoned at 8 weeks old. So it was great to have the availability to be able to have her stay last minute.

Today after wee Elsie went home I had free time for the first time in a long time so I went out for lunch with my eldest, which was lovely as we don’t get to spend much time together 🥰

Then I walked my own 2 boys down to meet Lucy at work (with their matching coats 💙) and now snuggled on the sofa catching up on 3 x I’m a Celebrity.

Next few nights I’ll try do some Christmas shopping and maybe even get the decorations out 🙈
