Two dogs, now safe in our care, were lifted by the PSNI in Ballykelly and taken to Roe Valley Vets in Limavady. They were then brought from there to our centre via the Dog Warden.

Two black Labradors, one male, the other female.

For the safety of these dogs, we would like to ask for proof of ownership when reclaiming. The reclaim mobile number is 07793 029732, which is manned from 9am until 5 pm daily.

Please share so we can reunite them with their owner.

SAFE IN OUR CARE

These two lost souls were brought into our centre via the Dog Warden, where they are now safe and well-cared for.

**UP DATE, DOGS HAVE BEEN REUNITED WITH THEIR OWNER**
Two female pugs, one is microchipped but not registered or licenced, the other has no chip. Both were found in the Mountsandel area of Coleraine.

To ensure these dogs are returned to their rightful owner, we kindly ask for proof of ownership and photographic ID. Reclaim mobile number is 07793 029732. This mobile is manned every day from 9am until 5pm.

Please share this post with your friends and family so we can increase the chances of reuniting these pugs with their owner. Every share counts! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

We have been kindly donated this fabulous hamper from one of our long-standing supporters to help us raise money to help with our veterinary bill. A few dogs have come into our care recently, requiring extensive treatment, such as skin complaints and 2 BOAS operations on two pugs.

To be in with a chance to win, numbers are ยฃ1 each or 6 for ยฃ5. These numbers will be picked at random and entered into our raffle.

Toby is a gorgeous 5 year old male retriever. He is waiting for his forever home. Toby is housetrained and adores his walks . He loves taking control of his lead and walking himself while staying close to you and he shows good recall. Tobyโ€™s life is not complete unless he has his toys especially his teddy bears that he can cuddle and always carry around ! He is excellent with other dogs too . This lovely boy is Rocky!! He is a 2 year old sweet little collie with a big personality. Rocky is a very very gentle boy, has the softest nature and is great on the lead. He loves to give you his paw any opportunity he can as a way of love and affection. Rocky just gives the best hugs either out on a walk, in the kennel and especially getting dryed after a wet day. Sorry about the muddy paws but a muddy pooch is a happy pooch ! I have to say he has a special place in my heart โ€ฆ as when you meet him you will see why. This beautiful boy is Ralph and he is a 6 month old collie pup. Ralph is the most perfect , happy , energetic, affectionate boy and will make a fantastic addition to the family for whoever adopts him. He can be timid around a lot of people but once the toys and treats come out he will be your best friend. Ralph is super intelligent and so smart that he learns things quite quickly. He can sit , lay down and give you his paw . He can live with another dog providing a successful meet and greet. Hey everyone meet Lucy ! She is a female Labrador / Collie . Lucy is only 1 year old and is an absolute sweetheart. She came into our care as a stray and sadly was never reclaimed. The pictures donโ€™t show how beautiful she really is !! Lucy doesnโ€™t give a good impression in kennels as she is so stressed and anxious that it can be heartbreaking to watch. When she is out of kennels sheโ€™s the most happiest, confident and fun loving girl. She just cannot cope in kennels which is now causing her to lose weight. Lucy is absolutely fantastic with children providing they have a sensible approach to dogs. She is not destructive in any way never chews her toys or blankets . Lucy can live with other dogs after a successful meet and greet. She loves a good chase and plenty of fun with the other dogs here at the shelter. Our beautiful boy Max is a male cocker spaniel who is 4 years old . He came into our care as his owner had to move away to work. Max is totally housetrained and can live with another calm dog depending on a few meet and greets. He is the most affectionate little boy who loves to play and has a soft spot for his favourite toys carrying them around with him. Max is full of fun with the biggest heart. He enjoys being out and about and walks beautifully on the lead. Max can be rehomed with children that he is comfortable with and they must have a sensible approach to dogs . Bracken is a male English Springer Spaniel and is 8 years old. He is such a sweet boy who is full of energy, fun and mischief. Bracken is looking for an owner who can give him a home to finally call his own and to chill out on the sofa beside you. He gets really happy to see people , loves having a cuddle and fusses made of him. Bracken just loves cuddles no matter how big or small. If there is water he will be in it! He will need to be the only dog in the home as he gets very attached to his owner and just wants all the love and attention. Although Bracken is very good when it comes to socialising with other dogs . He loves his walks getting in lots of sniffs but likes to stick close to you at the same time. Bracken is brilliant at recall and will sit and give you his paw. Benvardin Animal Rescue Kennels

Benvardin Animal Rescue Kennels has been in existence from August 2010. We are a Rescue and Re-homing Non-profit independent registered Charity based near Ballymoney, Northern Ireland.

We are a small team of dedicated people whoโ€™s ambition it is to give rescue dogs a second chance as we believe that they make first class pets. We do not believe in destroying a healthy dog.

BARK operates a strict re-homing criteria to ensure our rescue dogs find their 5* home. All our dogs are vaccinated including kennel cough, neutered, wormed, de-flead, microchipped and licenced. Please note access to our Centre is restricted to appointments only to those who wish to adopt one of our dogs.
