We want to say a big thank you to nifrsofficial irvinestown branch for coming out last night and helping to rescue one of our kittens who got her wee head stuck. They acted so quick and were so gentle in how they rescued her. Massive thank you.
In rescue we see it all, fortunately there were ppl in the sanctuary at the time viewing the cats and olive was spotted.
Our volunteers and staff go over and above constantly for our animals but we are all human and we all have homes to go to so the animals canโt be monitored 24/7 but we do our best. And like all industries accidents happen especially when animals are involved. We are just thankful she is doing well in her new foster home as you can see in these videos.
She is quite the mischievous wee cat. She was brought into us by a member of the public as she had been abandoned and alone and of course we took her in despite being at capacity for our resources! We are currently caring for over 16 cats and 40 kittens and so we are stretched but we wouldnโt see a cat with no where to go.
She is approx 9 weeks and after a vet check she can now be rehomed. If you would like to apply for adoption please send us a message ๐พ
