Just a heads up to all my client's and their doggies, I shall be collecting your dog's earlier than usual tomorrow and most likely next week too if the hot weather is as predicted! It shall be at least half an hour earlier than usual, swimming and shaded walks will be on the agenda🌞🐶

What group walks look like with Hayley's hounds. 🐶🐶
Careful consideration is taken when socialising the dogs and choosing who to walk with who, it's not as easy as just throwing them all in the mix, not everyone will be friends.
For a fraction of the walk the dog's are on leads of which the maximum I ever have is 8. I will have 5 and my Dad will have 3. During this time one will need to go to the toilet meaning we stop to pick it up. You can guarantee that one or more of the dogs go around your legs wrapping the leads around you and to someone passing by they may think ‘oh my goodness, they are getting in a tangle and shouldn't have that many dog's’. Trust me it's a daily occurrence, one of which I can handle!
Another thing that can happen is I have one or more reactive dog's, this can be reacting to a person, a dog or a cyclist, during which time they will get pulled back with a stern word, this isn't being cruel or mean to the dog's, it's trying to correct unwanted behaviour. To a passer by, this again will look chaotic and like we have no control, I can assure you we do!
Once we get to the field the fun starts, firstly we check no other walkers are in sight. They then get to run, play, sniff freely and make friends.
On the hot days we go swimming or stick to the woods.
The dog's welfare, safety and enjoyment is always my main priority.
Here's new dog Molly making lots of new friends and enjoying her new found freedom ❤️❤️

The dangers of dog walking… and why insurance isn’t optional 🐾⚠️
I keep seeing kids advertising dog walking for a bit of pocket money…
Cute? Yes.
A good idea? Not always 👀
Because this isn’t just “walking a dog”…
This is responsibility for a living, breathing animal that can run, react, panic, fight, bolt… in seconds.
So ask yourself 👇
❓ Are they insured?
❓ Do they understand dog behaviour?
❓ Do they know what to do in an emergency?
Because when things go wrong… they go wrong FAST.
🚶‍♀️ Leads slip
🚗 Dogs run into roads
🐕 Aggressive dogs appear out of nowhere
🤕 Injuries happen
🤢 Dogs eat things they shouldn’t
And in that moment… it’s not about pocket money anymore.
It’s about experience, control, and knowing exactly what to do under pressure.
That’s the difference between
“someone who walks dogs”…
and a professional dog walker.
You’re not just paying for a walk…
you’re paying for safety, knowledge, and peace of mind. 🐶
