At Downing Street, one thing never stays the same: the people in charge.
Prime Ministers come and go, policies rise and collapse, and Westminster carries on with its endless theatre of ambition, panic, and resignation rumours.
Yet through all of it, Larry remains quietly stationed outside Number 10 — looking as though he’s already seen this episode several times before.
Now even Keir Starmer finds himself under growing pressure. Following disappointing local election results and increasing unrest within the Labour Party, questions have begun swirling around his leadership. Reports suggest some MPs are quietly losing confidence, while others are openly discussing whether the party may eventually need a different face at the top.
Meanwhile, Westminster continues doing what Westminster does best:
briefings, plotting, nervous headlines, and dramatic whispers in corridors that smell faintly of coffee and regret.
And Larry?
Larry simply watches.
Because since 2011, he has outlasted scandals, reshuffles, resignations, and more Prime Ministers than most people can comfortably remember without Googling them first.
In British politics, power is temporary.
But Larry the Cat increasingly feels like a constitutional institution.
