Hello

My name is Rachael and I am a reliable, experienced, caring dog walker, animal/house sitter who also offers equine assistance. Dog walking will be a full one hours walk and I can offer private walks for dogs with any 'issues' too. I'm lucky enough to have set up my own charity, along with two friends, this year rescuing and re-homing abused Romanian dogs and because of this I have seen and

dealt with many dogs with all sorts of 'issues' due to how they've been treated so have a lot of experience with every type of dog. Also I am happy to offer equine care. I have 20 plus years experience and also have my stage 1,2 and 3 riding and care and a National Diploma in Equine Studies. Please see below what I offer but happy to discuss anyone's needs....

One hour dog walk

Home visit (30 min) this can include letting a dog/cat out, feeding cats/dogs and cleaning out litter trays etc

Holiday cover - can move into your home and look after your animals either for a night or a week. Equine care - 1 hour and half days. I am happy to provide references and as a true animal lover your pet will be in the best possible hands and they will be treated like they are my own :-)

Working mostly in Bagshot, Chobham, Lightwater and surrounding areas but will also go to Farnham, Fleet and Odiham. For a friendly chat and to discuss your needs please get in touch. Thanks

Yesterday we took a call from a vets later on in the day who was desperately seeking help as they didn’t want to handover to the warden for her to be put in kennels. Her owner came in with his carer and the carer demanded she was euthanised as she was too noisy. She’s 11 years old!! When vets refused as there was nothing medically wrong with her apart from being very overweight. He became agitated and said he should have killed her himself. He said if they didn’t do it, he’d do it himself or bury her alive!! This is very alarming and after a lot of confrontation they managed to get her signed over to them. They said they were both very unpleasant.

It also sounds like this sweet girls original owner passed away and the family member took her on but was suffering with dementia hence needing a carer.

She could have been a very loved pet and to be treated this way in her retirement is just absolutely disgusting. No words 😡
If they acted this way in front of professionals, god only knows what she was enduring at home, we hate to think 😢💔

Thank you to one of our amazing volunteers who didn’t hesitate to jump in the car and drive an hour to go and get her. She is now safe under our care and in a loving foster family. She’s confused, very overweight but in the best place. We will update everyone on her progress but for now, she is on a diet and getting some much needed TLC.

After a really stressful few weeks for the team we wanted to share some AMAZING happy news!

FRANK, the Bulldog that we rescued a month ago has finally found his forever home! Franks fosterers fell in love with him instantly and have officially adopted him ❤️ we are still continuing to cover his medical expenses for his existing conditions and we have already spent £1,500.00 on his vets bills. This boy hadn’t been outside of his home in 6 years and was hugely overweight and needed medical treatment urgently. Frank has lost 2.5 kilos (which he needed!) and is now eating a proper diet and walking daily. His fosterers adore him and we couldn’t be happier for them all.

If anyone would like to donate towards Frank’s vets bills please do by the usually methods and mark it for ‘Frank’.

Dotty absolutely smashing her training. Dotty really struggled to focus and had no impulse control. She’s a trier and certainly lots to work on but Rome wasn’t built in a day right! Very proud of how far she’s come in such a short space of time. Well done Dotty 🦮❤️

Wow what a year 2025 has been. I’ve been so lucky over the years to have some wonderful dogs and clients to walk and train. I’m also lucky that some have been with me from the start…. Many many years ago!

This year I signed up the the PHXK9 6 month mentorship course which is almost coming to an end. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to dig deeper in to dog behaviour.

I finish the year feeling exhausted but truly humbled for all the dogs that walk my path. Running the rescue, I’m never short of dogs to help and each dog teaches you something new. Every dog is unique and there isn’t one way to train a dog. You have to adapt your training to suit the dog in front of you and I’m loving every minute of my journey with dogs, business and rescue. I will never stop being an advocate for those with no voice and I will always be their voice until my last breath!
