✨ Before & After – A Transformation Worth Sharing ✨

I don’t usually post before and after pictures, but this little boy absolutely deserves the spotlight today. 💙

When he came in, he had severe ear infections in both ears and was so matted that it took me over 30 minutes just to safely shave his ears — I honestly couldn’t tell where the matting ended and his skin began. Normally, he can be quite reactive (he’s even bitten through my nail before 😅), but today, it was like he knew I was there to help him feel better.

The matting around his private area was so tight I was shocked he could even toilet properly. This isn’t just about appearance — this is about comfort, health, and relief.

Unfortunately, with the rising cost of living, more dogs are coming in like this. It’s heartbreaking, but it’s also why grooming costs can be higher — safely shaving a matted coat takes more time, skill, and equipment (and yes, it makes scissors and blades go blunt much faster).

This isn’t my usual styling work — but I’ll always put a dog’s health and wellbeing before vanity. Every time. 💕🐾
