Recently Gibbs came in feeling anxious, but with Debbie’s patience, gentle care, and lots of treats, he soon began to relax.

Dalblair Vets are raising vital funds for the national charity PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Su***de to help save young lives.

Starting Monday 8th September, in recognition of World Su***de Prevention Day on 10th September, we will be collecting donations via our justgiving page.

Su***de is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK. Every year up to 200 schoolchildren are lost to su***de.

Generous fundraising helps PAPYRUS to run a confidential helpline service, HOPELINE247, which offers practical advice and support to young people who are struggling with life and anyone who is concerned about a young person who may be having thoughts of su***de. HOPELINE247 is staffed by trained professionals and offers a telephone, text and email service.

Fundraising also helps PAPYRUS to offer su***de prevention initiatives in local communities, supports a network of volunteers and enables the charity to offer training to individuals and organisations across the UK.

Did you know that by the age of 3 80% of dogs and 85% of cats have some form of dental disease. 🐾

Here are 5 clues your pet may be one of them 🧐:

1. Red and bleeding gums
2. Bad breath
3. Changes in their behaviour
4. Yellow/discoloured teeth from the presence of dental tartar
5. Rubbing or pawing at their face

Buddy enjoyed his visit to the cat clinic recently and his owner commented on how relaxed he was🫶🏼
