A delivery of Axel’s Elixir bone broth happy bones arrived in just after shop closing time yesterday - once I’ve got them out for sale and a few other things topped up the shop will open at twelve.

FB is no longer allowing us to tag followers in posts - I’ve googled it and it’s to do with reach becoming about paid ads when it gets to a certain size, they control the algorithms.

‼️If you don’t react to our posts with a like then you won’t continue to see them - that includes product/ stock/ delivery updates and info like us having Sunday 28th closed‼️

Lots of you tell us that you see our posts but you aren’t reacting to them - our FB presence will disappear if you don’t hit a button!

So today the oldies got on with tidying the shop up and getting weekend ready!

What did the oldies do today??? 🤣

Well we certainly thanked the young team for fixing out our storage space before they went on holiday !!

First up was a pallet of Nova Dog Chews, followed by a battle of the lorries - one with a pallet from Dibo and the other with three pallets of Petcayr own label dry foods.

Then there was a wee top up of Meat.fordogs arrived in for the freezer, a big box from Anco Natural Treats and I decided that because Kong didn’t include a Scotland teddy in their World Cup 26 range of toys that I’d take a wee break from all that lifting and carrying and make one ⚽️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Do you think it’s ok for us to have a sneaky wee Chinese tonight after all that ??? We are busted 😂

With Alex and Lewis away to visit Alex’s dad in Spain for a few days, what did the oldies get up to yesterday?

Well….we had an order of Yorkshire Raw 454g and 1.3kg chubs, Dougies Raw came in and we added to the phenomenally high quality Wilder Plus raw completes.

Carlo from Polar refrigeration came round to make sure that the freezer unit in the van is fully gassed in case this rumoured heatwave actually happens 🤞

And I bought a HUGE new display freezer while no one (Alex) was here to tell me off!!! 😂

It will be delivered and full of new things before they get back - ssshhhhh 🤫

We had more new delivery customers come on board last week than we have seen for a long time 😊

The subscription model on our own label foods also saw an upturn.

Just as a wee aside - early orders are the best orders!!

It makes it so much easier to have your stock aside as shop stock and delivery stock can compete on busy days.

When this ginger boy first appeared I contacted Cats Protection, and although they didn’t get back to me, they have been aware since that he was in the area and monitoring him there.

My post on Saturday was seen by a young lady who was sure that he was her mums cat, missing from Kilmarnock.

And having been picked up by Cats Protection and scanned - he is!!

So he’s on his way home to be reunited with his family and spoiled 😊
