☀️ IMPORTANT HOT WEATHER NOTICE ☀️

With temperatures expected to be exceptionally high this week, I wanted to let everyone know that some appointments may need to be rescheduled at short notice to protect the welfare of the dogs in my care.

Thursday is currently forecast to be the hottest day of the week, and all appointments scheduled for that day have already been contacted and rearranged. However, depending on how temperatures develop, appointments on other days may also be affected.

I continuously monitor the temperature inside the salon using a thermometer. If the salon temperature reaches 26°C or above at any point, grooming will be halted immediately and any dogs currently in my care will be sent home, with appointments rescheduled as soon as possible.

Please note that 26°C is my general policy threshold, but every dog will be assessed individually. Factors such as age, health conditions, disabilities, breed, coat type, coat length, and overall tolerance to heat will be taken into account. This means that some dogs may be sent home or have their appointments postponed even if the salon temperature is below 26°C.

To help keep everyone comfortable, fresh drinking water and cooling mats will be available to all dogs at all times while they are in my care.

I understand that appointment changes can be inconvenient, but the safety and wellbeing of your dogs will always come first. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this period of extreme weather. ❤️🐾
