The aim on a group walk isn’t for every dog to walk glued to your side the entire time. They need the freedom to explore, sniff and interact appropriately, while still being able to listen and settle when needed.

That balance is what makes a good group walk.

Different smells, different terrain, plenty to investigate and lots of space to move around.

This is why I love group walks. They’re not just about covering miles, they’re about giving the dogs a chance to explore, use their brains and enjoy being out together.

Woodland walks are always a favourite.There’s so much for the dogs to take in without us having to manufacture entertain...
