This sweet little Dachshund came in for a very special milestone: 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭!

Many people don't realise that even short-haired pups have an undercoat that needs a bit of extra help coming out to keep their skin and coat healthy!

First visits can be a little intimidating, so we took everything at Wini’s pace. She was an 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 and completely smashed her very first salon experience! 🌟

This beautiful 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 came in for a much-needed pamper session, and wow—what a transformation! She needed a very thorough deshedding treatment and a precise scissor tidy-up ✂️

Not only is she absolutely breathtaking, but Flora was also such a total sweetheart—a complete dream to groom from start to finish 🥰

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮-𝘀𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆: 𝗞𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗮’𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝘂𝗽! ✨📸

Gorgeous Kiera the 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 dropped by the salon for a well-deserved tidy-up and a full deshed! 🐾💛

She was a little camera shy when she first hopped up on the grooming table and gave me the classic Golden "no photos, please" side-eye... but once she felt all light, fresh, and fluffy, she was more than happy to strike a pose! 😂

The amount of undercoat we brushed out was almost enough to make a second Kiera! 🤯🧹

As always, this little lady was an absolute star for her full groom! ✨

She might hate saying goodbye to her mum, but the second her paws hit the grooming table, it’s all business. She knows exactly what to do and her tail starts wagging, and the sweet kisses start flowing! 🐶💋

She is always a complete joy to groom 🥰

🐾 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘄𝗵𝗼’𝘀 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼! 🐾

Little 𝗗𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 came back in for his 2nd puppy introduction session and wow—he has already come on leaps and bounds in his confidence! 🥰
He was so much more 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅𝗲𝗱 this visit, taking it all in his stride. Before we know it, he’s going to be an absolute expert at getting pampered 🫧🧽

Just look at his photos! In his "before" shot, he looked like such a tiny, timid pup, but by his "after" photo? He looks 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 and so grown up already! 🥹❤️

Look who’s back looking like a million bucks! 😍
The very handsome 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 popped in for his full groom and he is looking—and smelling—so fresh, fluffy, and fabulous! ✂️🧼

This 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘆 is such a pro. As soon as he walks through the door, he knows exactly where to go and what to do! He’s always the best boy on the table and an absolute dream to pamper from start to finish 🌟

Look who came in to see us! The handsome 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁 was back in the salon for his full groom! 🐶✂️

Not only is he super cute, but he’s also the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝘆 every single time he steps through the door. He was an absolute star during his groom, and now he’s feeling extra fresh, fluffy, and ready to strut his stuff. ☁️✨

We had the absolute pleasure of having 𝗚𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 back in the salon for their full grooms! 🥰
This adorable 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗼 brother-and-sister duo are truly the absolute best of friends🥹❤️

Both of them are such good doggies and thoroughly enjoy every single second of their pamper session! 🫧
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁? While one was on the table getting pampered, the other would curl up for a sweet little nap—making sure to keep one eye slightly open just to check in and make sure their bestie was doing okay. Talk about sibling goals! 💤👀✨

Look at this handsome gentleman, 𝗢𝘇𝘇𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿! He came in for a full pamper session and handstrip groom, and to say he was an absolute angel is an understatement 😇

Ozzy was so relaxed during his groom that he actually fell fast asleep on the table! Nothing makes us happier than knowing our furry clients feel completely safe, calm, and comfortable while being pampered 💤✨

✋️𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜? ✋️

For wire-coated breeds like Ozzy, handstripping is a specialised technique where dead, blown fur is gently removed by hand (or with a stripping knife) right from the root, rather than clipped with scissors or clippers.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙨:

✅️ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿: Unlike clipping, which softens the fur and washes out rich tones, handstripping keeps the wire coat coarse, bright, and weather-resistant.

✅️ 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵: Removing the dead hair clears the hair follicles, allowing healthy new coat growth and letting the skin breathe properly.

Honestly, we almost didn't want to give Ozzy back to his owner at pickup time 🙈 He made himself right at home and completely stole our heart! 😍

🌟 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! 🌟

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 is becoming such a brave, confident girl on her visits to the salon. She now comes bursting through the front door, ready for action—and immediately rolls straight over for her absolute favourite thing in the world: 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝘂𝗯𝘀! 🐾 🥰

Coming in at a very close second-favourite for Star is, of course, the 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗷𝗮𝗿! 🦴
We make very thorough use of it during her visits to reward how amazing she is and keep building that brave confidence 😇
