RIDDEN PROJECT / LIBERTY & INHAND SCHOOLMISTRESS/ BROODMARE [ MYTENS GRAND SIRE]

⭐️ URGENT HOME NEEDED FOR THIS LOVELY MARE ⭐️ GOOD HOME MORE IMPORTANT THAN ££

HERMIONES WAND [ LOTTIE ]
15'1 IRISH SPORTS HORSE - 11yr

Irish Sports Green Passport - SIRE
WATERMILL SWATCH

LOTTIE is a lovely little mare showing much potential with sympathetic training. We purchased Lottie almost 3 years ago for a young rider coming off ponies and she proved too sensitive for our 13yr old jockey.

Since then we have completely restarted her and taken her back to basics with a consistent routine of groundwork; lungeing, long reining, pole-work, schooling in hand and under saddle through classical and natural horsemanship.
Lottie is an intelligent and willing mare who is quick to learn. She has a fabulous active walk and a flashy balanced trot but still needs consistent work in canter, especially on her weaker rein where she is less balanced.

Ridden work has come on leaps and bounds in the last 6 months, balanced and responsive but can sometimes be sharp. Lottie gets much confidence from her rider and requires an experienced and sensitive jockey to continue her education.
Currently ridden bit-less with ba****ck pad, working towards liberty training. Lottie has been worked consistently from the ground by a veterinary physiotherapist to optimise posture and support best movement with her conformation. She has shown huge positive changes in muscle development, g patterning and posture. This has allowed a really beautiful, balanced and expressive gait to emerge. Lottie is a true schoolmistress with her groundwork and has mastered some very advanced movements and is often used to teach groundwork laterals to beginners. She is a fabulous teacher and incredibly

perceptive to subtle body language signals making her really fun to work with. She really enjoys being challenged in her groundwork and you really could teach her anything!
Genuinely keen to please, super clever and learns very quickly, loves one to one time and grooming. Easy and polite to handle clip, load, farrier etc. Not currently shod, good feet and foot balance and is up to date with dentist & osteopath. Good with other horses and easy to do in every way, will turn out on her own or with mares or geldings.. Enormous potential as a broodmare, out of the exceptional proven Sire Watermill Swatch by the renowned stallion Mytens.

DUE TO A CHANGE IN CIRCUMSTANCES WE REQUIRE AN URGENT HOME FOR THIS GORGEOUS MARE. Open to offers and rehoming as companion or broodmare.

FIRST time our horses have been OUT since before Xmas 😳 Super Grateful for the use of this local, fabulous full length, sand surface arena. Thank you lovely to meet you and your babies this week 👉🏼 SWIPE for the gorgeous “MINI’s” at the end 😍 Behind the lense I’m quietly loving how the pale arena surface looks against the sky and the fact that these horses have come out of lockdown and one helluva wet winter looking mighty fine and pretty fit 💫

🌈 Yesterday’s sunset projected this brilliant optical illusion onto my path on the way into work YEAH! 💫 When all else fails nature’s theatre always brings us hope 🙌🏽 Searching for a bit more optimism on the winter solstice ... today I downloaded the brilliant CHANI app [ thank you .maker ❤️] to find out a bit more about the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction happening in the sign of Aquarius for the first time in 200 years, which initiates us into a new 200 year era. 🪐 WHOO HOO!! The good news is that we are about to experience one of the most important astrological reboots we’ll ever live though. Hallelujah! Something BIG needed to happen 🙌🏽 ... fascinating, enlightening reading ... ✨

“Years like 2020 have us straddling a gaping chasm, one that asks us to bear witness to what is decaying while at the same time tending to what is emerging. Our systems are archaic and long-overdue a reconstruction. In true Aquarius fashion, we must leave enough space between our personal attachments and the needs of the collective in order for the most innovative ideas to emerge. Aquarius is the antithesis of Leo, it decenters the ego. 2021 asks us to think beyond ourselves, beyond the herd mentality, beyond the binaries we’ve been forced into”

A ⭕️ of learning and teaching 💫 .equestre teaching me how to support Bernie with his next stage of schooling ...whilst schoolmistress Diva is doing a sterling job of training Bernie simultaneously ... unlike me she has absolutely no trouble clearly expressing her intention in the following images 😂 I love these mounted lessons, they tick many boxes for visual and kinaesthetic learners and give the coach a whole different perspective but best of all it seems to inspire the horse on a more instinctive horse-led level adding a little bit of excitement to a schooling session 🙌🏽

❤️ It’s been two weeks since finishing the Masterson Method Advanced training course which has been completely transformative in terms of my personal horsemanship. 💫 Practicing on our herd at Corble Farm as well as on horses in Dorset in the past 10 days has only reinforced how powerful this method of bodywork is. 🙌🏽 With The Masterson Method®, you learn to recognize and use the responses of the horse to find and release tension. As a MM® student, we are trained to stay under the radar of the sympathetic nervous system with the horse actively participating in the process.
“Working on a prey animal is like avoiding the lasers of an alarm system, do the wrong thing and you will trigger the horses “flight or fight” response. Instead, we work with the horse’s responses to turn on the “rest and digest” state.” In contrast to traditional massage The Masterson Method seems to work like magic ... “switching them to the “healing, resting and restorative parasympathetic state of the nervous system, lets the body concentrate on the “business of living”.
With thanks to the Masterson Team in the UK for their guidance and wisdom & for restoring my faith in racing, it was a joy to see and work with such happy and contented sports horses 🙏🏽

💫 Fun start to the holidays for these horses and riders today in their lesson with 💓 This alternate hands off and no hands exercise was brilliant for demonstrating that more often than not, the less hand we use the more our horses give us. These partnerships have spent many hours working on their flatwork to establish strength, balance and suppleness for both horse and rider. The rhythm, lightness in contact and mutual trust built in their dressage is essential to the success of this exercise and any other discipline they do especially jumping. “By not using the hand it allows the horses natural engagement. The horse can look, assess and jump accordingly [ their biomechanics instinctively/innately understand how to function] without rider interference!” Demelza Hawes -Classical Dressage and Holistic Rehabilitation

❤️ Minestrone pony being a total superstar in the 75cm at Cherwell over a pretty technical BS course, after he got over his initial collywobbles over the scary shadows being thrown by the fillers 😂 This pony who never looks at a filler, thought their shadows were very scary 😂 well done to .amiessss for giving him the reassurance and persuasion he needed to ride a competitive round finishing just outside the placing a in a huge class

Honoured and super excited to help out at this weekends . Hosted by and , this event last ran in 1999, it is a fantastic and much needed addition to the calendar. Currently offering opportunities for the country’s under-21 riders, providing Youth Performance sections at CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S, alongside international classes at CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S level, with national novice and intermediate classes. Fascinating to get the opportunity to talk about the course build with esteemed designer David Evans who created excellent opportunities for riders and horses to progress up the levels, with a seriously punchy course at CCI3* Congratulations to my first horse family who totally pulled it out of the bag this weekend 🙌🏽❤️
