Today I had one of the most traumatic things I think a dog walker would ever have to deal with happen. Nearing the very end of my first morning walk the very gorgeous Darcie dropped to the floor and passed away. I tried my hardest to restart her heart and save her but she had gone.
I’ve walked Darcie for the last 4 years along side her sister Mabel. Darcie was full of character, always far behind me plodding along at her own pace which was SLOW, her one and only speed. You could always hear her before you could see her as she snuffled her way through the long grass. When she finally caught up (after us waiting for quite a while) she would drop to the floor in front of me and roll over expecting belly rubs. Darcie and my dog, Buddy were always together, I used to say they were like an old married couple just sniffing their way slowly round the walk and stopping to dine out on rabbit poo. Darcie was a funny, loving, chilled out beautiful girl. I’m heart broken that she’s gone, my first morning walk will never be the same again 😢🌈🐾

It was so nice having Benny back with us this week after he had a fight with a rose bush in his garden and hurt his ear 🥰🐾

Remi wasn’t sure about the hay bales, I had to put her on the lead to get her in the field and show one to her so she knew it was ok 🤣🐾

A nice little shady solo walk with the beautiful shiny Remi. She couldn’t come with her usual group as she was having a pamper with a groomer 😍🛁🐾
