Hi I'm Leanne, the owner of LEH Dog Grooming I thought I'd share a little about myself and my journey as a dog groomer 🐾

From a young age dogs were always part of my family with a mixture of breeds gracing the home, Dobermans, St Bernards, Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds — this is where my passion for dogs began. It was always a dream of mine to work with dogs in some form.

After years working as part of a family business I decided to follow that dream and complete a City and Guilds qualification in Dog Grooming alongside other canine specific courses.

Once qualified, I was a pet stylist at an established grooming salon where I worked with different dog breeds finessing my skills and knowledge as a groomer, with the dream of opening my own salon. This is when LEH Dog Grooming was born.

For me dog grooming isn't just a job. I am very passionate about the education in the skills and techniques that improve my abilities to make sure the grooming experience is a stress free and enjoyable one for all the dogs in my care.

You may remember Ollie from some previous posts. This gorgeous boy has been very frightened of the grooming experience in the past and has had times where previous groomers have not been able to complete his groom. Over the past few months I have been working with Ollie to help build his confidence and earn his trust and today we hit the biggest milestone! He had a bath, blowdry and full groom 🧡 I can not tell you how proud I am of this boy and honoured that he trusts me enough to do his groom for him.
I love my job everyday but days like today make it even better! Well done Ollie, you super star 🌟
