Little Orchard Dog Training Academy operate in and around the Weston-super-Mare area, Somerset, UK.

Training at Little Orchard is designed to be fun and interactive, strengthening the bond between you and your dog. We provide reward based training for dogs and aim to provide a relaxed environment for owners. We offer a number of Courses including:
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze, Silver and Gold Levels. Kennel Club Puppy courses, Agility courses, Fun Club and Gundog Workshops. We also offer Social Courses and 1-2-1 training and assessments.

We have a LOT of Pups in training at the moment. I've added a 4th New Course starting tomorrow at 10.30am if anyone is looking for a Daytime Puppy course. There's 1 SPACE remaining.

Who would like to join us for a Rallying morning on the 24th of August 10am - 1pm followed by some lunch :-)
We are fully booked on the 7th of September so are offering an extra date.
There will be 3 courses and judges set up as before and you can opt to do whichever 6 rounnds you like for practice with rewarding of your choice.

It could be at 9.15am on Thurs or 10.30am on Either day.

Sadly, Primrose popped out of her weaves today so no placings for Tom but a good run....

Jess worked Ginny in the afternoon in Graduate Agility (against all ages in that height) and came second.
That means Jess also qualified Ginny to Crufts in Graduate.

A great day, topped off by a fun adult Have a Go Rally class with around 20 parents and trainers working for an hour.

Day 4 at YKC camp.
It's Agility competition day!
Stu had a Level 3 course set for the Rallh group this morning and they all did brilliantly 👏
Core Skills was a large group but Maria and Sarah made it a fun last session for Group C.
We then had 30+ teams working a Level.1 round in the Have a go sessions

Tom and Jess have been left to their own devices a little. Jess was entered in ABC (Anything but collie) with Nutmeg (Sarah's dog) first today as both children have already qualified to Crufts with their own dogs.
Jess only went and Won 🏆

Kids have more agility this afternoon. We have Adult have a go Rally later on.

Pleased to say we (the Trainer's team) also won the Parenr / Adult Bear Grylls themed game challenges earlier this week too. This involved logic games, problem solving, heckling and a lot of laughter :-)

The weather improved after the rainy start.
Two Rally groups and 2 core skills groups today.
This afternoon, Sarah and Maria took part in Adult "have a go" Agility and Hoopers (video shows Maria and Fern running a course).

Final event if the day was the Summer Fete.

Wow..... 2 Bronze tests, 2 Silver tests and a Gold test examined at YKC camp.
Well done to everyone that passed today and to Maria, Sarah, Stu and Dexter for triage, stewarding and examining.

Another great Rally group this morning along with a Core Skills group. Second group was a double Core Skills session.
We brought some games along but were 1 dog short on a team. Maria kindly offered to be the extra "Team Down" member :-)
This afternoon we have a behaviour seminar, dog photography workshops and Good Citizen Scheme testing / training.
