Land Driller's Assistant required to work on self-employed basis.
Borehole Surveys Ltd is a geo-technical drilling company based in Spooner Row, Norfolk - specialising in ground investigation and water well drilling.
We are currently looking for a motivated, strong and reliable person to join our team of drillers. Working on a cable percussive rig, you will assist our Lead Drillers in operations drilling holes up to 25m depth. Please visit our website for further information www.boreholesurveys.com.
Additional duties to include hand-dug trial pitting and monitoring of water levels in boreholes.
This is a demanding role and suitable applicants will need to be physically strong, reliable and willing to work as part of a team. You will occasionally be required to stay in hotel accommodation as and when required.
Driving licence and own transport are essential to travel daily to our base, a trailer licence would be a bonus but not critical. Work vehicles will be provided from base to job.
We provide a quality service and have well presented, polite and experienced staff working on our rigs - you will need to liaise with clients on-site so a professional manner is essential.
Previous experience of drilling, hand digging and physical work would be an advantage but full training will be given to the correct candidate.
