The importance of proper socialisation!!😍
Bear (cavapoo) and Ronnie (pug) have both always been unsure of other dogs walking near them and often appear reactive due to lunging and barking. But I was determined to see them become friends!
Due to their hyperactive natures (and both still young dogs), they both have a tendency to overwhelm other dogs and hyperfixate on them, worsening the lunging and barking.
Correction and positive reinforcement means I can now peacefully walk them together without struggle and they also can feel more relaxed and less anxious.
