It’s been a busy few weeks here at WTRacing! 🏇🏼

We’ve had plenty going on behind the scenes, and I’ll be sharing some updates on what we’ve been up to so far, as well as introducing you all to the horses in the yard for the season ahead! 🐎

In the meantime, Becca has been hard at work over the last couple of days with her clippers, getting everyone looking smart, tidy and ready for some hard work!

Lots to look forward to, and we can’t wait to share it all with you! 💪🏼🏇🏼

“2 days out the field from their summer holidays, manes and tails tidied, coats shining and hoofs sparkling… I can hear the best turned out already 🏆🏇🏼🐎”- Becca

Horses are in, pampering has started… let’s get ready to ride.

Becca, our incredible groom, is officially taking on her first-ever charity race, riding her former racehorse Fanta! 🐎✨

If you can, please show her some support—every little bit truly makes a difference.

Thank you ❤️

Racing has always been a huge part of my life—it’s more than just a sport to me, it’s a passion and a way of life. Working closely with horses every day has given me a deep appreciation for the care,

Such a fantastic day that the official photos had to be purchased! Thank you Nico Morgan Media for the excellent photos Garthorpe Point To Point we have to say it really is our favourite place ❤️

CHIROQUI PRINCESS. The hero that you are.

An unfortunate day yesterday for our TONYS TIPPLE, who was running an excellent race in the Restricted at Tabley before being brought down by two other fallen horses three out.

Thankfully, he’s come home safe and sound. He was showing plenty of promise up to that point, so we’ll look to get him out again soon.

These things happen in racing, but it was great to see how well he was going while it lasted. On to the next one 🤞

A fantastic day for the team today at Garthorpe P2P.

CHIROQUI PRINCESS delivered a superb performance in a competitive field of 9, securing a well-earned victory for the WTRacing team 🥇

This mare has been a model of consistency all season, and we’re very much looking forward to stepping her up into Restricted company next season.

For now, she heads off for a well-deserved break after a strong and progressive campaign:

* Larkhill: P/11
* Brocklesby: 4/9
* Siddington: 2/7 🥈
* Dingley: 3/5 🥉
* Garthorpe: 1/9 🥇

A great result and a real team effort—thank you to everyone involved.

Sunday was a huge hit for the team. We may be a small yard, but every single horse means the world to us. This isn’t a numbers game, and it never will be.

Whizz was truly one in a million. He gave everything in everything he did — whether that was running away with Becca and Annabel, pulling James’ arms out in the ring, or behaving like a complete gentleman for Will when it mattered most.

Sadly, after unseating Will in the race, Whizz suffered a broken leg and we had to come home without him.

On his final day he won best turned out as he did every race day. He was truly the most handsome chap in every ring.

There are no words for how much he will be missed. He wasn’t just a racehorse — he was part of our yard, our team, and our family.

Run free, Whizz 🖤

COLONEL WHIZZ 🐎✨

Delighted with COLONEL WHIZZ yesterday in the maiden, finishing a very pleasing 3rd! 🥉

He put in a fantastic performance from start to finish — jumped brilliantly, travelled strongly, and showed a great attitude throughout. A proper professional all day and really showed what he’s capable of. 🏇

He stayed on well to the line and looks to have plenty more to come on the back of that run. 🎉

Absolutely thrilled with how well he’s running at the moment — he’s in excellent form and giving us plenty to be excited about going forward! ❤️

To top it off, he was awarded Best Turned Out — a well-deserved result for Becca, who does a fantastic job every day 👏

Onwards and upwards from here!!! 🤞🏻
