National Animal Welfare Trust Bedfordshire

National Animal Welfare Trust Bedfordshire NAWT Bedfordshire (formerly HULA Animal Rescue) has been helping pets and their owners since 1972. We also have a foster and rehome 'home to home' scheme.

This year, in our 50th year of operation, we are embarking on our largest ever project to redevelop our animal accommodation for homeless pets. National Animal Welfare Trust Bedfordshire (Supporting HULA Animal Rescue) is a small animal adoption centre on the border of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. We're based in Aspley guise and rescue dogs, cats and small animals who are needing new homes or

who are in vulnerable situations. Whilst with us they are provided with all the care they need - and a lot of cuddles too of course! During the time they are with us we assess them and start to look for the most appropriate and suitable home for them. We are a non profit organisation and have been serving the local community since the early 70s. Our fundraising is vital for us to continue the work that we do. To help us continue to offer shelter to homeless pets for the next 50 years and beyond, please support our redevelopment project: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/savenawtbedfordshire

Donations of cake and other baked goods for us to sell at our event on Sunday would be gratefully received!

Our refreshments sell really well at our events and so we're looking for any donations of cake that could be dropped off to our centre on Friday or Saturday or alternatively to Woburn Village Hall on Sunday from 10am onwards. Thank you so much in advance.

Planning your wedding and wondering what to ask for instead of traditional gifts? ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿพ

If you love animals, why not invite your guests to donate to NAWT instead?

Weโ€™ve created a beautiful wedding donation poster with a QR code your guests can scan to donate during your reception. Simply print it, pop it in a frame, and display it on your special day.
Itโ€™s a meaningful way to celebrate your love while helping animals in need find care, safety, and a second chance. ๐Ÿ’™

We are looking for someone with a farm, smallholding, or rural property who would be willing to give an unsocialised stray cat a safe home as a barn cat.

Despite our best efforts to socialise her, she remains very fearful of people, which is completely understandable given her past. We feel she would be much happier living in a rural environment where she can have her own space rather than in a typical domestic home.

She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and we are looking for someone experienced with barn or feral cats who can provide her with shelter, regular food, fresh water, and ongoing care while allowing her to live independently.

If you think you could offer her a safe place to call home, or know someone who can, please get in touch on [email protected] or by giving us a call on 01908584000. Sharing this post would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
