I'm putting together a list of local waters in Tameside and the surrounding areas for our anglers — especially places that are easy for the kids to get to on their own. Over the past year we've had quite a few younger anglers wanting to take up the hobby, but they’re often unsure where they can go.

This is what I’ve managed to gather so far, although contact details and up‑to‑date information can be tricky to find for some venues. Any additional waters or info would be greatly appreciated.
