Hi everyone, hope you are all well.. this is not a post I was looking forward to doing but I have come to a point that I need to let everyone know what's currently going on with myself. So just over 2 weeks ago, I had some very upsetting news 😔 I have unfortunately been diagnosed with cervical cancer, which is starting to spread to my womb... this has been the follow on from my recent post about my hospital visit. Unfortunately I am too risky to have surgery and I am having to go down the path of radiotherapy and chemotherapy which is not what I was hoping for 😢 I am due at the hospital tomorrow to meet my consultant and to find out my treatment plan. But as far as I am aware the treatment is everyday mon-fri for 5-6 weeks, which means that I will be closing my business for around 8-10 weeks as I will need to also recover from treatment once it has finished, as you can imagine this is heartbreaking for me because if you know me well you'll know im not one to keep still and love to work!! I will still have my bather here working so that de-sheds and bath and brush appointments can still go ahead, this will be helpful for maintaining the coat also, I also completely understand if you need to go to another groomer in this time and would absolutely recommend it to keep your babys maintained. This has been a very difficult time for myself and my family, but while I am still physically able to I am still working as much as I possibly can and also opening up extra appointments to try and fit everyone in. If I do need to change any appointments that are booked in at the moment for hospital appointments I will let you know as soon as I am aware of them, I will keep everyone upto date with how im doing but please do bare with me for a reply as I have already received a lot of messages. I appreciate every single one of you for your support and kindness and I will hopefully be back to my crazy self in a couple of months. Laura 🩷🩷🩷
